On reflection I realise my posts have been very negative and very abrupt on this thread and pretty dismissive of Phils "reasons or mental state" by fellow posters but we have all suffered betrayal in our lives and it makes you very strict and confrontational on personal views of infidelity so my apologies. My father with a bird at work to my mother was my experience. Tore my family apart. Hence why my emphasis is on his poor mrs and baby. I imagine fellow blues have had their run ins with this kind of thing too and also been affected. My question now though is as punishment goes the club and country can not really do anymore than tell him he's an irresponsible fool and fine him but what do blues actually wanna see done because there isn't really much more can be done? From a personal standpoint he is a City player and that is about as far as my support now goes for him. I love City and will support him in our colours but him personally no. Don't get me wrong I loved Phil because I thought he was a genuine down to earth lad and being a blue he was living the dream we could all only imagine and he was "one of our own" but this, nah.
