Not a CB for me. CDM. The rags bring this on themselves though. Cleverley, Welbeck, Smalling, Jones, Rafael etc. are average-good players with potential to be some of the best in there position in the world. Yet after one good game the rags act as though they are the best in the world already. So stupid. One rag I know about 5 games into this season proclaimed Welbeck better than Dzeko, Smalling & Jones just as good as Kompany, Cleverley better than any of our midfielders. Thats the opinions you develop being an armchair fan, unfortuantely.

I honestly don't rate him.
And I don't see how Cleverly got a call up for England full squad considering he's been sidelined for months.
Ajax actually came to the realisation at some point tonight that united were blagging a good game when in fact they are living on past memories and they just ain't that good.

In 3 years time, the likes of Jones, Smalling, Rafael, Fabio, Cleverley & Welbeck may very well be very good players. It's hardly a long shot that they will be tbh. So as for rebuilding a good side, you can't argue that they aren't rebuilding one.
The question is whether the rebuilding will actually work and that will come in time.
People on here complaining that certain armchair united fans keep going on about how good Jones et al are atm and how Jones is as good as Kompany and Welbeck is as good as Dzeko, just fucking ignore it ffs. It's clear they're only MOTD season ticket holders and know fuck all.
The problem is the media who try to big up every young English player to be mustard when they haven't got close to that mark yet. You don't actually hear the players themselves come out saying they're the dogs bollocks do you? No, they just go out and play their game.
In 3 or 4 years if they haven't turned into quality players then yes, label them shit. But, Jones, Smalling, Cleverley and Welbeck aren't shit, they just aren't as good as our England Media Hype Machine make them out to be.

Which is what I said in my post PP, they could be great, the could turn out to be overhyped by the English Media Hype Machine. But I certainly don't think they are shit players.
