Phone Thread

Looking to buy a new phone soon, most important feature for me is the camera.
Can anyone suggest what phone has the best camera for the $$
Im not into spending big on an iphone or Samsung
Ive read good things about the Xiaomi Mi 6

Opinions ?

Suppose it depends on how much you want to spend, the new Huawei Mate 10 is about £500, very powerful phone and the dual cameras have Leica f/1.6 lenses.

I have a Huawei P10 on the local 4G network, works well and the camera is very good. It has an excellent GNSS that works on GPS, Glonass and Beidu systems simultaneously, it also has Galileo capability. I've had this since August but I still prefer iOS to Android, maybe a matter of what I'm used to but I still use my iPhone 6 on 3G.

Ive purchased a few Like New/Grade A items from Argos ebay and Amazon, with the exception of damaged packaging, they have always arrived in perfect condition.

I see iPhone 6 for around £280 on:

I don't want to go through ebay at all due to previous bad experiences with non-mobile phone deals.

Does that seem reasonable for sim-Free? It works out around £50 cheaper (I can get a reasonable Sim deal with EE) than going with carphonewarehouse who do a combined deal (https://www.carphonewarehouse.com/h...html#!colour=silver&capacity=16GB&dealType=sf) over two years.

Thats an old phone now,so im not so sure if its a great price.

However,i think buying an unlocked phone and finding a Sim only deal is definitely the cheapest option.

Thanks. Trying to keep costs low as my father doesn't need anything too flash (he is not great with tech)

Google Pixel XL - not the Pixel 2.

Brilliant phone in every respect. Great screen, nice build quality, fast, excellent software, great camera, call quality is superb (much, much better than my previous Samsung S7 Edge), audio sounds great. Superb phone.
