Pies

Cissy Green’s in Haslingden or Bradley Fold Garden Centre near Radcliffe (they have an in-house butcher who makes the pies). There must be other butchers making pies with quality ingredients. Not sure if they do steak puddings though.

I wouldn’t feed my dog a Hollands pie.

I'm making potato cheese and onion pies this weekend
I had an excellent vegetarian option at Southport FC last season. It may have been cheese, onion and potato. Clearly home made too. £4 but worth it.

Depending on where I end up in life, Southport might be a destination for a home by the water.

Just back from kefalonia and I asked the waiter at one restaurant which dish I should have snd he suggested the lamb pie. Freaked me out as I associate pies with our part of the world not some hot south European island.

Anyway, it was bloody lovely!
Kreatopita, bloody lovely!

This place was the ducks nuts for pies until they sold out to Martins (who are fucking wankers).

Definitely was the best pork pie before the sell out.
Since then I found pie heaven in Wigan
GALLOWAYS Several shops scattered in around the Wigan area.

My mate delivers around Wigan now and again, I’ll see if he can pick up a few on his travels. Can’t beat a decent pie especially when on the 10th tee at golf, always goes down well with a beer. Sometimes it’s all we have left to enjoy half way around the course!

If I buy a pe made pie only hollands for me.

Pies in general are overated as a food in this country and something I would rarely eat.

except pork pies which are heavenly
