Pitch invasion

We aren’t other sets of fans. We are City fans, and we’ve always invaded the pitch for promotions and title wins. It’s a City fan culture tradition.

Plus how many other title wins have been as dramatic as 2012 and 2022? I could understand why we might not have done them for 2014 and 2018, but there have never been scenes like Agüeroooooo or Gudogaaaaaaaan ever before in football history.
We did one in 2014 (more on the pitch than in 2012), and I think we did a couple of half hearted ones in 2018 if I remember correctly.

Might be out of order here but that was never an attack on that keeper . They fucking ran into him . As for the pitch invasion suddenly now Gary Neville says it’s out of order but last season he was instigating it .

At least our fans aren’t breaking into the ground, assaulting security staff and trashing the place in the name of “protest”.

Rat boy can wind his neck in and look closer to home.

Unfortunately I was the fan that ran on when we scored the third.

I'm embarrassed for myself and the embarrassment it's caused my family. It was a spur of the moment thing and I'd change it if I could go back.

Is there anyone at the club I can get in touch with to issue an apology.

I wouldn’t be embarrassed by it mate. As you it’s what happens - spur of the moment.

Villa fan blog video of the match from the Villa away end.

A bit of guff at the start, but once it gets to the ground, it's good.

Shows the pitch invasion for quiet a bit viewed from the Villa end.

Well worth watching. Stick with it.

I agree that "assault" is a bit harsh compared to what we've seen recently, with Billy Sharp. But it was still unacceptable and there should be no excuses for it.

Olsen was just doing his job. Nobody should have put their hands on him, or any player/staff/etc. in any circumstances. Any contact is out of line in my opinion.

It happens everywhere and it's always a few idiots that ruin it for everyone.

How can GMP arrest City 1 fan for running on to the pitch when there were 1000's of City fans on the pitch?

If it’s as cold as you suggest, they should wait 30 seconds to get the players off as, sooner or later someone (fan or player) will end up seriously hurt.
