Pitch invasion

It was about violent as Keown was when Van Nistleroy missed the penalty for utd that time. Not condoning it as it is wrong and you shouldn’t intimidate players, but the Keown incident was seen as hilarious by anyone who didn’t support the shit bags… just putting it in perspective.
It's assault in the eyes of the law. It doesn't matter whether it was 'funny' or not.

Thousands of people wilfully breaking the law by going on the pitch. A small number committing criminal damage by breaking the posts. At least one individual assaulting someone.

Pathetic. I hope loads of them are identified and banned from the ground for years.

It was hardly an attack on the keeper who made the most of it and was play acting. It was out of order for any fan to touch that Villa keeper. That said, the keeper was being a shit all game with his time wasting, don't dish it out if you can't take a bit of grief.

Regarding pitch invasions, there's nothing wrong with them after the game and as long as players are left alone. Content is fundamental for journos and they will do what they can to demonise an uplifting event to fill up column space, tweets and time on talk shows.
I have to disagree with the keeper being a shit
He got pushed totally wrong however the biggest thing he did for me was pick up the blue flares some moron threw on the pitch at 2 each when we were desperate for a winner
He could’ve easily left the flare there and wasted time
But he tossed it aside thanks Robin Olsen

Can understand how the game was going the relief of the fans and how happy they were but im not in for invasions. Recently the behaviour of others, players getting butted and so on. It didnt look much was done to the keeper but you know footballers, roll around at the slightest tap and make a mountain out of it. Also the press, why give them ammunition to fire!!!! Reminded me of the scots at Wembley all those years ago. No need!!!!!!

where have I said we have a divine right??

we have a history of pitch invasions when we win the league or get promoted. Do we not?

why do you care so much about what the media think.
I think it’s pathetic. The club wanted the attention seekers off the pitch, the players did and the majority of the fans did, fuck the media. I much prefer watching the players and coaches who I pay money to watch than a bunch of selfie taking attention seekers. Times have changed, keep off the fucking pitch

Wait and see, after all that has gone on this last week or so they will be desperate to find a solution, the press are already focussing on the way arrests are up and coke is fuelling the behaviour. The football authorities won't want the government stepping in with sanctions and will have to put extreme measures in place to bring it under control, fences will never happen, stewards can't cope when thousands are intent on getting on, punishing the clubs will be the only way they can succeed, maybe start with heavy fines but that won't stop the loons, points deductions will be a consideration imo.

nowt will happen I 100% guarantee it will not don’t worry and enjoy winning back to back titles and four in five years.
