Good player. I would like him to come, but it'd be bittersweet as I guess that'll be it for Hargreaves. Surely Mancini wouldn't be thinking about this if he thought Hargreaves had any chance of covering as our 5th midfielder. Although Pizzaro does seem like one player who could fill the creative void left by Y. Toure, perhaps a bit long in the tooth.

Does he still perform well defensively?

Like Mancio said, he is slow, BUT he's a fantastic passer of the ball with great technique as well.

I don't think he's quite as good as he used to be, but you never really lose passing skills.

Could be a useful signing. He sprays the ball around well and would bring Clichy, Richards, Nasri, and Johnson into the game faster than happens at present. Imagine more teams will be desperate for the 3 points in the coming weeks, so having a player that can get us up the park quicker would be a boon.
