PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Even if we have broken a rule we still have done nothing wrong. The narrative that, if we have broken a rule, we deserve to be relegated is nonsense even if that is the end result. All blues need to remember that.

We haven’t bribed officials or stolen money. We have invested in a football club and developed an area of East Manchester. That is something to be proud of not punished as “cheats”

Never forget. Never join in with… if we are found to have broken the rules we must be heavily punished. It’s utter crap and I would say that whether it was City or not. Every fan of every other club would love our owners.

I'm sorry but I totally disagree here. You can't downplay the significance of industrial accounting fraud; criminal proceedings could/should be undertaken here if found guilty against those who did so. We all disagree with the rules but you cannot try to circumvent them to such an extent.

Fuck it - here goes…

Prediction based on conversations today with people ‘in the know’.

Give it six months of litigation and the PL will drop all charges against City due to insufficient evidence.

Don’t shoot the messenger.
Wouldn’t be satisfactory. I’d rather we were cleared of wrongdoing than have the suspicion around that we have a case to answer if only the evidence could be found

If that’s the outcome, I can more than live with bitter KFA’s spewing that sort of shite. It’s no different to what we heard following the CAS verdict.
I think we should revel in our "cheats" tag. I want our rivals not only to suffer at our hands when we win, but to feel like a massive injustice was carried out in the process. Millwall fans have it absolutely right when they celebrate their unpopularity. Our fans should delight in being accused of cheating. It totally disarms the KFA merchants.

Question for the in house lawyers or people who are right on this shit!!

Not if but when we come out of all this shit with another win will CFG go Absalutely balls deep & take every slimy cnut who has caused our club nothing but shit since 2008, please tell me we will??

Am I right in thinking that the Mancini thing isn’t even an issue that falls under possible breaches of FFP, given that Premier League FFP only came in at the start of the 2013/14 season and Mancini had left the club by then anyway?
Not quite. He was manager in 2011/12 and the following season, the first two under FFP.

But this isn't about FFP. It's about 'hiding' some of his remuneration using this Al Jazira consultancy contract. I suspect they're saying that we should have paid him that £1.5m through our accounts, so have understated our expenses.

But that amount makes sod all difference. If it had been £10m then that's probably something to worry about but not £1.5m. It's just not material.
