PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

They admitted non cooperation. CAS had no choice but to fine us. That is not the case with the PL. City have confirmed full engagement and cooperation with the investigation.

Up until 2018. Thereafter, not so much. And that is what I think the charges refer to, the period between 2018 and now. Which I guess City would argue they wouldnt need to cooperate with as there is no cause for investigation.

Hudds fan in peace.

Now the dust has settled a little bit I just wanted to pop on and say that not everyone is against you. I have been non-stop fighting your corner to all and sundry since the news broke as, at least as far as I'm concerned, this is nothing but a shady attempt at a monumental stitch up, and it's pretty clear who the accusers are, even if it is being disguised under the Premier League banner...all the other bits of news that have broken since do nothing but underline that belief. At least it helped them get that little rat Greenwood out of the headlines for a bit...

Beggars belief to me that a club with a £500million deficit on the bottom line of their bank statement can throw shade at a club with zero debt whatsoever. Stinks in all honesty.

I would normally end something like this by wishing you luck, but you'll fight this and you'll win this. You'll never lose the particular tags in the eyes of certain people, but fuck 'em. I'll come back when all this is done and drink a pint of their salty tears with you all. Get into them City.
Thanks you for the clarity you've shown. Even the honest Rag fans I know believe it's a blatant stitch-up to stop City.

However, seeing as they're the main beneficiaries of FFP & love nothing more than seeing shit hurled at City, they don't care. \0/

Arsenal, Liverpool, ManUre & Spuds ARE the Premier League. The rest of us just make up the numbers. If the PL was just those 4 playing each other every week without boring the world to death, they'd go for it.

Chelsea were grudgingly accepted into their club, but City owned by a Brown Muslim Billionaire oil man? No chance were the white American owned red tops going to accept this!

They also know the worst case scenario for them is an independent football regulator where they lose control of English football. They're TERRIFIED at the prospect.

HOWEVER, there's an even biggest threat which they fear the most... I'll happily campaign for the principles of FFP as long as it's equally applied to ALL UK industries?

Why should the Premier League be the only industry to care so much about the liquidity & finances of the businesses within their sector, & whether it's fair or not that a minted owner can invest his own money into his business?

Let's have FFP applied to EVERY UK business & then let's see how quickly it gets fucked off! It's the whole protectionist concept of FFP that's at fault, NOT MCFC trying to compete in a corrupt competition...

For a start their, if it is a dipper fan talking, stadium doesn't hold 61k. And whilst they have sold players for stupid fees they have also bought them for even more stupid fees. Don't get me started on Standard Charter who have been fined billions over the past 10 years for charges including poor money laundering controls. Rags have nowhere near that number fans and Chelsea is just taking the piss with their spend. All our sponsors are not fabricated and we haven't been screwed over. Ask the dipper to precisely explain what we have been charged with and when he replies with fiddling the books, ask him to precisely explain. He won't be able to so don't worry. And when he goes on about cooking the books ask him about their £50m expenditure for their new ground or their hacking of our database or their feral fans.
The so called expenditure on the proposed new stadium has always puzzled me. I wonder was that ever properly investigated if not it should be or reinvestigated if it was glossed over in the past. This is the sort of issue Parker should have been making to the BBC.
We are a wide and varied group us fans and may I suggest that, within legal limited obviously we start to dig for information on this and other dodgy deals by PL members. We have proof now that any irregularities at least as far back as 2009 are open to charges.

Francis Bacon once wrote audacter calumniare, semper aliquid haeret (slander boldly, something always sticks). It seems our adversaries have taken this to heart and will not stop until they see City fall from power. Next on their agenda would be finding Madeleine McCann buried in the Etihad Pitch and the Princes in the Tower in one of the player's lockers. We really should do well to do full siege mode on our enemies. Let's start with that idiot in our fan club and then bring down the PL.
