PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Add another charge

FA: "It's alleged that both clubs failed to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion, with Arsenal's players surrounding the match official during the 56th minute, and #ManCity's doing so during the 42nd and 64th minutes..." [via

Their investigation started in late 2018, and they’ve accused of us of not cooperating since then, so presumably that’s why they’ve chosen to charge us up until that point, and with non-compliance subsequently? If that makes sense? Could be completely wrong on that though!
Sounds right to me. Which suggests that, like UEFA, they've really only got the Der Spiegel emails as the basis of their charges. Anything beyond that would be classed as a 'fishing expedition'.

Can we not just point out all the times the Rags have done it without being charged?

You could, but it would be a complete lie.

3 times this season alone.

I see DAZN are trying to muscle in on PL tv rights, they’ve already snatched a few high profile boxers from Sly, but they’re more likely to rival BT for their package first…..I said midweek this is probably about Tv rights etc, it just feels like a big power struggle right at the top of the game

I've spilled one previously, which was the dossier he was central in putting together in 2012, that saw Walton disappear to the USA and Mason removed from our games for a while. It also saw Mike Riley come up to the Etihad to do the Q&A with Points of Blue.

Another was passing on key information that the club only partly acted on in the 2019/20 season. Had they acted fully, it's quite possible Liverpool wouldn't have won the title. They did act on other Liverpool-related information but it's something I suspect they already knew.
Cheers mate. Thanks for the info

Is this the incident which could have left certain Liverpool directors being led off in handcuffs?

I'm lost now. What did the club partly act on, but chose not to on others. Bullet points would help me please.

I was talking about previous seasons. However you have alerted me to the fact that the PL must have changed tack this season and are following the UEFA example of how to increase their income.
