There was a post on here a while back saying something similar. Either they've got the same source, or it's the same story regurgitated.

The same info was related to a supporters club in Cheshire recently, by a respected former player, now employee of City. It sounds like the line being put out by City. This chap might even have attended the same meeting.

It's almost an industry in itself these days, major auditors being fined for not doing their jobs properly.

The only thing which matters is can the tribunal prove we disguised owner investment through sponsors?

I fail to see how they can, barring a sponsor or Sheikh Mansour telling them they did!!

And would he have been promoted if they thought this was hanging over his club?

Re the alleged leaked emails, the hacker Riu Pinto is due to be sentenced next week. He has a previous conviction for extortion (never mentioned in the MSM), he avoided prison on that occasion by giving the money back to a bank in the Camyan islands. He could be getting some serious time in the clink. His defence are still trying to portray him as heroic whistleblower and pleading for a suspended sentence. Hope the judge does the right thing...

as this is clearly libel - WHY don't the club sue him? It needs to be stopped
