PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I quite like the notion that the Rag's and the media keep raising that SM has spent more than £1.5 billion on us and it has resulted in the league being destroyed, however the idea of the Rags being purchased for £6 billion, plus £1 billion to renovate the stadium and training facilities and a further £1 billion committed to improving the squad is perfectly fine.

I keep reminding the rags that for all their arguments about it the Glazers not putting money into the club, the club belongs to the Glazers, it is their property, they can do whatever they want to do with it, they could have taken twice that amount if they wanted to.

And to think this all went to shit over a drunen Scottish bully wanting some horse spunk.
They never mention that Sheikh Mansour made back all his original purchase money by selling a share of City to Silverlake and has since more than doubled the value of his overall investment. He has also made huge profits on his investments in the Manchester area and will continue to make profits from his 50 per cent stake in the new Arena. The club is totally sustainable and he has literally made billions from his investments in Manchester.
Yet we are still being described by some liars as being "state owned" or "state funded." There is only so long this fake narrative can continue because most of the public have a deep distrust of the media and know when they are being peddled a myth. Matchgoing fans of all clubs can see with their own eyes what is happening in East Manchester.

Nah - a salary cap would absolutely not work...
There are ways clubs will make up the shortfall for players... and how will it be implemented? Suddenly tell all teams how much they can pay players? A lot of players won't like that for a kick off - their agents will cause trouble... and going forward, knowing of a salary cap, decent players will only go to top clubs - it would eventually make things less fair than they are now!

UEFA, the FA et al, talk about 'fairness' but what they actually want is a return to the old G14 status quo! They don't want a level playing field, where a different team could win the league every year... they don't want relatively small clubs being successful, they want Unitedd, Liverpool and Arsenal to share the spoils in the PL... Barca, Real, Inter & AC Milan, Bayern Munich etc. to win everything and fill their coffers with cash!

This is waffle, if a salary cap is implemented exactly the same for every club - then of course it works.

depends if it is based on % of turnover or an actual figure that is same for all clubs. That would mean for some clubs its a higher % of their revenue and for some a lower - hence they will make lots more profit.

Its a grey area and difficult to implement. Agents and players will kick off and clubs will look at other ways ie endorsements etc via sponsors.

Don’t think supporters of other clubs will not stop believing the nonsense that is written about City. It gives them a get out for not examining why their clubs have not been as good as they should. United have invested more than enough money in their playing squad to compete with City. Liverpool love hiding behind that they can’t compete with City financially when really they could.

Our owners are very wealthy, totally committed and as it turns out, brilliant at building a successful football club. However in terms of all the fans in England we maybe 5% (max) of the total. That means a whopping big 95% are highly resentful, fearful and often hateful.
All of us are "journalists" now so it's a dying profession. The ones that remain are micro managed muppets, continually assessed by the number of clicks they get per article. They all have "go to" stories/subjects for slow news days and virtually anything, absolutely anything that is negative about MCFC will deliver the clicks.
Just forget about the MSM and enjoy every goal, every win and every trophy even more...

this is coming in next season already 90% of turnover allowed on wages then dropping to 70% by 2025. What UEFA were banging on about is a player wage cap this is when it will kick off

So the clubs with a higher turnover can spend more on players initially - RAGs, Scousers, Arsenal. I'm assuming we will also be in that mix.

Correct.

A wage cap is fair. But would it work. They tried in Rugby League with limited success.
exactly - unless its across Europe - but players may just turn round as say its a restriction on their trade. Even with the Wages to Turnover - players will just want to go to the bigger clubs to maximise their earning potential, lots more contracts with buy outs and all sorts of clauses around bigger clubs etc.
