PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I think I said this in the wrong forum, but I'll say my thoughts on FFP:

Everything regarding FFP is stupid... because FFP is stupid a concept.

FFP was NOT designed to keep the league competitive, that is a big misnomer the general populace has.

Instead it was a limitation on spending wherein the big clubs stayed big and the small clubs stay small, hence, FFP is essentially ANTI-COMPETITIVE.

Even if City did break FFP rules, I don't care at all if media spew this because FFP is a sham to begin with.

On top of that, FFP was designed to stop clubs from going bankrupt, and over the last few years we have STILL SEEN MANY CLUBS FUCK UP FINANCES EVEN WITH FFP. And City were clearly never in danger of going bankrupt, so it's design implementation for it's intention was insanely flawed.

The league could have easily put in a limit to spending by ALL clubs in the premier league, similar to America which forces all teams to have the same wage/spending cap, but they didn't. If they truly wanted competition, where everybody is fighting for the league they could have done this.

Anyways, that's it. FFP is the biggest sham of a system I have ever seen in professional sport.

A few minutes after the final whistle. Scum bugs. Time to defund the buggers.
One of the organisations we should ban from the ground and refuse to do MOTD interviews with. Even Salford Stone mentioned the charges in his Arsenal v Forest game text on BBC and surprised we still give him a seat let alone let him ask questions

talk to nearly every fan of every club, they know the real intention of all this nonsense, and that is to reinstate the old cartel, it might sound like hyperbole but this is a fight between good and evil
I've talked/listened to a lot of fans from other clubs and most of them think we are cheats. The media have driven a lot of them this way.

100% FFP was a scam to maintain the status quo and the way the "lesser" clubs fell for it was an embarrassment to them.

Our only mistake was not to challenge the unfair financial rule from the beginning.

There is no rule in business where you prevent the owner from investing his own money into his business.

If they care about the sustainibility of the club, there are other ways to do so ( bank guarantee....etc )

The cartel didn't accept City competing with them in the transfer market and in the league, thats why they came up with this unfair rule.

Totally agree, our club and many others should have challenged in the courts.

Restriction in trade in any business is just so wrong, and football is no different.
