PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I have decided against raising my BP again by watching this latest addition to the box set. I did though catch a couple of minutes of the pious Jordan who managed to tie himself into knots when feeding the machine with his five- minute take on the content of the vid.
I tuned out when he intimated that EUFA officials were in the pocket of the Middle East coz of their oil and gas interests.
The brainless twat was critical that we had chosen not to present our case on the vid.
Jim Whitebait(er) made a feeble effort to remind Jordan that our evidence for the case would be heard by the PL at the right time.

As other posters have speculated expect a lot more of this campaign. It will become a frenzy.

Maybe our co-operation hasn't been as complete as has been imagined, and some evidence has been kept back. Information and statements from sponsors and other externals, for example, which is the most compelling evidence, in fact. Evidence that the club feels that the PL didn't have the right to ask for, but which can be provided at the right time. Would explain the non-cooperation charge, why none of the underlying issues seem to have been cleared, and the number of alleged breaches. If the PL didn't get such compelling evidence they would have no option but to refer the alleged breaches to a disciplinary panel.

Just a guess.
Where is the benefit to us of holding stuff back then rely on it at the tribunal stage?

this is my concern

I want to be comforted by the well considered and experience based views I read on here - but that video must have taken a fair bit of money to put together - and it has been done for the purpose of continuing the conditioning the majority of fans I assume

It makes me feel that the PL are going to be forced by the red shirts to 'go for it' because - fuck it there is no appeal process

It will be just CITY fans screaming that it was unfair - all the conditioned people won't give a fuck
I think ultimately for whoever put this video together it’s a waste of money. It will have no impact on the outcome of our case with the PL and will have restricted views. I wouldn’t mind betting that more City fans have seen it than fans of other clubs. Either way it will change nobody’s opinion. It’s howling at the moon, pissing in the wind, a comfort for those who want to believe we are guilty but at the end of the day an expensive waste of money.

Jeez, why the f..k do you lot listen, watch or read this sh1te? Life is a lot less stressful if, like me, you just ignore it. You might find that there is a happy life out there without this sh1t. None of all this crap in the media has made the slightest difference to us winning trophies or playing great football. I don't buy a paper, don't have Sky or BT and I certainly don't listen to Talksh1te and I strongly suggest, for your health, that you all do the same.

Because in an investigation phase, the PL would be entitled to ask for further information based on the information handed over to them. A fishing expedition, if you will. At the disciplinary panel stage, the PL has to prove the alleged breaches with the evidence they have.

Also, I imagine, because the club doesn't trust the security of the PL process having experienced the UEFA leaks, quite rightly with the increasing number of "leaks" from the PL process. Why submit commercially sensitive information and top executives to a process you don't trust? I would hope the panel has a degree of confidentiality that the investigation didn't.
