PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

It’s not really true though - UAE have openly continued supplying Russia and ignored requests including from the UK to abide by the sanctions most other counties are upholding.

It is what it is - it shouldn’t be an issue to acknowledge that for all the good they’ve done for the club, they’ve openly aligned with India and North Korea in being happy to put their economies before morality.
City are owned by Sheikh Mansour and that has always been the case. The foreign policy of the UAE is irrelevant.

Sheikh Mansour is the deputy PM and vice President of the UAE.

To suggest that he has no input on the foreign policy of the UAE is with all due respect laughable.

Tried that link and got a 404 page not found. Do you have another?

It was Damocles original post as much as the above I was pointing out, you'll become an expert on FFP yourself before too long being a Newcastle fan.

The UAE do not own City. Sheikh Mansour’s investments are his personal business. You used the plural “they” for our ownership. It is wrong to link MCFC with the UAE’s relationship with Russia. Sheikh Mansour invests across the globe.

For comparison, look up Infosys.

Probably best not trying to teach us about FFP & ownership model intricacies, we've a fair few years head start on you.

I am most grateful for your informed comment and look forward to being educated further

With which you conveniently ignore the point once again..

Sheikh Mansour owns ADUG (which of course owns City), he is also the VP of the UAE, deputy to his brother Sheikh Mohamed. He is also deputy PM of the UAE, with the ruler of Dubai as PM. To try and suggest that he has no input in the foreign policy of the UAE is desperate.

The UAE is openly supplying Russia with microchips and chemicals to manufacture munitions, along with buying up Russian oil and precious metals, which is of course their right, it’s their economy to protect at the end of the day, but as said in the original post, it shouldn’t be taboo to acknowledge that for all the amazing things he has done for City and Manchester itself, it is hard to defend the foreign policy he is part of as the #2 of the UAE.

It's very easy to defend.

It's not their war.

You can waffle all you like. If you think the British government are going to impose sanctions on the UAE like they did to Russia you must be nuts. Money talks and they have far too much invested with them to do so. You might want to take a look at the Yank owners and what pies they have their fingers in. Oh and that country's dubious foreign policy too. Similar to the UAE Britain isn't going to cut ties with them either.
