Is the right answerThe deduction is immediate no?
Id rather lose 10 now with 20 games to go then be thrown into a relegation battle in the last 5.

**BREAKING NEWS**It's a disgraceful policy from the PL, not that we should be surprised, justice doesn't feature highly in their priorities.
He’s busy.I still find it weird that in a 4 year investigation they’ve not bothered questioning or even speaking to him.
I suspect that they believe that a 10 point deduction for a £20m breach is excessive punishment. So, if say Chelsea (or anyone else) breached by a similar amount they wouldn't expect them to get zero points deduction and a small finePerhaps true, but in any event, the cases of other clubs are immaterial to their own. It suggests to me that, ludicrous though the rules are, they've knowingly broken them and are bang to rights.
When you think about it, if City were to be exonerated before Everton's appeal is heard, I cannot imagine any lawyer worth his salt submitting in their appeal bundle "City got off, so this is precedent for us receiving a lighter punishment".
If we're cleared then we'll have bribed our way out of it. Why bribe the Premier League not to bring charges in the first place when you can just let them bring charges, spend a truckload of money on lawyers and bribe the independent panel instead? If we're cleared then this is good news for us, as it shows that penalties will be served if there is wrongdoing so no one can claim we've just argued our way out of it.
Hiring the best lawyers? Several media took that as evidence that we were guilty. Henry Winter in The Times argued that we did that to kick the UEFA charges into the long grass and now maintains that our lawyers are there just to cause delay. YCNMIU.
Fuck me all the thick imbeciles are as predicted crawling out of the woodwork.
Fucking jug eared twat.
