PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

No, the hearing will certainly go ahead. We just don’t know when yet, but a good chance it happens next year.
I do wonder if the whole case getting thrown out for technical/procedural reasons might not be the 'out' the PL need if it is without substance - that avoids having to say we are not guilty.

There were 40k documents submitted for the Everton case of which 27k were considered by the commission that equates to 4.6m for 115 charges

Would the PL really piss on their crown jewel?

The PL has Guardiola + Haaland in the league through City. The PL boasts the best team in the world, they would not if they fuck it up. Man City have big bargaining power. None of above = worse tv deal.

Would the English Gov really let the PL piss on UAE's investment? The billions they have poured into the club and Manchester area.

Again, this isn't a match fixing case like Juventus, or a bankrupcy like Rangers. It is a club being punished for investing. Yeah.. CHEATS!

why.. though?

Would genuinely make no sense for the PL as a brand to try and kill off one of their biggest marketable teams who has the best player from the next generation. They will have to do the same with Chelsea too after recent revelations. They've been pressured into this by Liverpool, United and Arsenal.. I think they'd take a soft 'out' if they can now.

City are only good because of smart decisions and Pep. The dominance is due to him, not money. Man U have spent equally as much and produced dog turd.

I honestly don't think Sheikh Mansour would've gone ahead with the new North stand development and leisure facilities if he knew we were going to be found guilty. Why would you spend all that money?
So we can sell the ground to the rags at a highly inflated fee.

:)

For me , this will get political , and reach the very top , even government level , the club has , and is creating hundreds , if not thousands of jobs in one of the most impoverished areas of Manchester , the new north stand development is a beacon for the area, and not just at a footballing level , do you think Manchester Council , and levels above will let a jumped up organisation like the PL have us relegated , and say bye bye to a very important investor to the Manchester area ? Because that’s what’s at stake here - we get sanctioned , and rightly so our investors (owners) may well just pull out of the club full stop , the independent regulator , for me can’t come quick enough - because it condemns the likes of Masters and his arse licking “poke your nose in red clubs” to the fucking history bin .
This will get political, of that there is no doubt to me.
Roll on ! Everton are poorly managed so fuck them , they’re a fucking corner shop compared to City.

I agree, but don't shit on Everton. They're a big club in their own right too.. This whole FFP is a load of bollocks, for City.. AND Everton!
