All of the charges are pre the current rule book. We have been charged with breaching rules in the relevant years rule books and as far as I remember nothing from the current year book as all the charges are pre 2018 or something100% - my point was not that the PL threw this together at the last minute, that would be a crazy claim. Before even announcing charges there have already been 2x arbitration panels, a Commercial Court case and City’s appeal against that case and the PL won all 4, of course it wasn’t a last minute thing.
My belief is only that the announcement was rushed out in a panic, hence why the charges were pre-22/23 rulebook charges and not updated to the new rules.
Mate, you are making people on here believe bullshit about secret tapes and suings and mass conspiracy dossiers with that comment.Mutually assured destruction.
Oi, leave me out of thisBetter than your work as a weatherman.

The Premier League don't want to hammer their brand with a punishment or ban or asterixes or any of that. But there is no smart bomb solution for City here apart from winning the case by whatever means necessary.
There is a "smart bomb" , scorched earth last resort button (reasonably decent sources). Only time and a grossly detrimental finding will tell though.Mate, you are making people on here believe bullshit about secret tapes and suings and mass conspiracy dossiers with that comment.

In the meantime it's just forum tennis.
It's a fair cop gov. Throw book at us.I love posts like this. Thread would be boring as fuck without them.
Good work.
Are you sure about that? It would seem counter-productive to do so but there's very little about these proceedings that follows logic or common sense. The Premier League don't want to hammer their brand with a punishment or ban or asterixes or any of that.
And if we were found "guilty" on all charges do you think the club would sit back and accept it, given that they very much believe they've done nothing wrong? Getting rid of people just wouldn't be on any "to do list" as that would imply guilt. We would double down and fight tooth and nail.If the club were found guilty on all charges - which would need the PL to pull something game changing out of their folders - then it would be incredibly difficult for the executive team to stay on. You’d be talking about one of the UKs biggest frauds in recent history, you don’t just carry on as if nothing happened. There would undoubtedly also be a strong push to disbar SM as an owner.
Now it would take something like extraordinary for the club to be found guilty on all charges, and of course the status of the executive team would then be very low on the list of issues to resolve.
