Plus the 2,231 US inmates currently on death row who are going through a cruel and inhumane justice process which drags on for decades. The hypocrisy in the western media about human rights abuses in other non-western countries is laughable.

Not the point I am making. I am not defending the extremist elements in places like Saudi just pointing out the hypocrisy of the western media. For example the UK and US have now started bombing Houthi rebels in the Yemen. When the Saudi and UAE forces did this there was an outcry over here with the usual suspects blaming it all on Sheikh Mansour.

Have we actually been charged with anything?

Or, as I believe, the PL have made a number of allegations that will be heard by an independent commission who will then advise the PL if there are grounds to actually issue charges?
