OK fair enough - but unnecessary as they've been well discussed and plastered all over the media for months.I don't imagine he is regretting, and nor should he.
You won't have any credibility to talk about the club without acknowledging the realities.
We won't be 'getting away' with anything as I believe we've done nothing wrong. The potential narrative that we got away with it, if this is how things eventually transpire, can easily be refuted.
If I am accused of murdering my wife, then my wife shows up at the police station alive and well, will I have got away with her murder?
Well what do you expect? The alternative is for them to admit that they're just not as good as us.No point being concerned about peoples opinions if we are cleared
Even if the PL came out and stated that City are 100% innocent and every single aspect of our finances are totally clean.... the public opinion would be that we've somehow forced the government to get the PL to back off or we've paid them off to clear us. The media won't say this directly but will imply it to brainwash the simpletons
All I'm bothered is that we're found innocent and afterwards I'll just laugh in the face of anybody who says otherwise
Thanks for that. I'm just trying to see things from their point of view. I can't believe they would spend millions on this armed with email's as evidence. They must think they have something on us that is more solid.Although the Etisalat sponsorship was time-barred under UEFA rules, CAS still looked at it and found there was nothing untoward. The PL's Profit & Sustainability rules came into being after the Etisalat contract was done and dusted, plus they're nowhere near as detailed as UEFA's FFP rules.
FFP specifically talks about, and doesn't allow, 'disguised equity payments', which is owners putting in money as revenue. PL's rules talk about "acting in good faith", "presenting accurate accounts" etc. Very generic in other words.
That is the new drip feeding narrative. We've paid the best lawyers to get us off.The potential narrative that we got away with it, if this is how things eventually transpire, can easily be refuted.

Haha. If only! We, The Premier League would like to announce that in light of being presented with overwhelming and irrefutable evidence by representatives of Manchester City, that it would no longer be in the interests of the Premier League to pursue any further proceedings in the matter and that the investigation is now concluded.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the British Press for their vehement support in our stoic yet fruitless efforts in bringing the City juggernaut to a halt.
We would also like to apologise unreservedly to all rag, dipper and tarquin fans for failing to make your dreams come true.
