PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

They should invite nostrils Harris to discuss the charges & the outcome on sky in the centre circle before the game like the cunts did when they were announced.
The Football Governance Bill was also something looming over the PL which is suspected of being ineffective. Suddenly the PL reacted with a number of investigations into clubs, quite possibly as a preemptive attempt to demonstrate its ability to regulate (although some may argue it is now demonstrating its lack of regulatory ability).

Shortly before its demise, the Conservative Party had been in communication with the PL requesting status updates on our case.

The bill seeks to have an independent regulator sat above the PL and other associations. There are pros and cons to that structure, but it's certainly motivation for the PL to try and save its own skin by attempting to throw its weight around and be seen to be doing so.

I hear that said a lot & I can’t for the life of me think why laying 115 on City the day before was a good response.

They knew it was looming and had clearly been gathering their evidence for some time. The hurried and erroneous release of the charges suggested something had caused them to pull the trigger hurriedly. The timing could have been coincidental, but very unlikely imo.
This is why I believe there are more than just red shirt influences at play. The PL were being scrutinised politically as well, certainly since the Newcastle takeover.

As for it being a good response? I'm not sure they had many responses available other than complete inaction. Had that version of the bill succeeded, the PL may have lost all control over the rules and there's a fair few clubs who really wouldn't have liked that.

The APT thing appears to have gone very quiet !
There were people saying that this wouldn’t even last the course and we would be exonerated early doors
God knows what will happen but it needs resolving
It is the only thing some clubs and fan bases have left to cling too
I’m sure it’s caused us problems negotiating sponsorship deals and transfers and has had enormous reputational damage
I can’t believe this was ever allowed to be placed in the public arena
I also note you never hear how many times Forest and Everton breached the regs
We get constant 115 which in itself is disgraceful by the press
The premier league is destroying its own brand and attempting to destroy the most successful club in the last decade
Anyway up the blues it’s nearly reaching its conclusion

It's a bit of a mess now that loans are no longer exempt.
They can't easily impose those rules on loans already in place but that then still leaves some clubs at an advantage. They can try and insist that existing loans must be resolved within a timeframe, but that still leaves them at an advantage in the interim period. They will probably have to declare an agreed time period where investment is allowed to nullify the advantage of loans and have new reset date when both investment and loans start afresh under new regs (by loans, I'm referring those
with advantageous interest rates).

It’s hostile because they leaked & went completely over the top with the amount of charges. It wasn’t a case of trying to get to the truth & if they had a semblance of competence we give them credit for they will have known it would be years before it could be resolved.

None of this has appeared joined up & I’ll say it again it would not have happened in the same way for other clubs.
...".a semblance of competence ".

Thats only the second problem.

The major problem is Puppet Masters being corrupted by the red yank cabal.

City must not rest until the whole PL management under Masters is laid bare to public scrutiny and account.

This mob have attempted to destroy a sharehold, a member and a famous old club who have existed and succeeded for 100 years + BEFORE the PL were formed.

How ever long it takes City but

"Once & for all
ONCE & FOR ALL" !!
