His response should have been 'I can't comment while the Premier League case is being heard'.

It took very little manipulation by the press to misrepresent his words as they did, so that the average football fan heard 'City were guilty, UEFA were right to prosecute, and CAS got it wrong'.

It wasn't difficult to predict how it would play out in the court of public opinion. Even the President of UEFA could have worked it out.

Sometimes though, I do wonder if they were actually revealing something about their own brief from the red shirt mafia club owners, who already had their fingers in many a media pie. The concept of weaponising football fanbases, to do your bidding. After all, the press and broadcast media has been used for ulterior motives like that, ever since they existed.

We should never forget some of their antics in all of this.

The red cunts just over the road , have and always be our biggest critics , it’s nothing new of course , it goes back decades, accelerated when the bells whisky narcissist took control , our history got lost as soon as he turned up with him buying more favour from the tabloids. “The temple of doom he called City”. The narrative was set about our club long ago. I hope he ends up making cigars out of his own shite through dementia in a mental home. The tabloids turned on us even more when we pissed on their chips and won the league on the final day , and it’s got worse ever since. Gill et al are behind all of this.
