Calm down...A lot of the media cunts are comparing us to Rangers and saying we could in effect be put out of business. I believe Rangers went bust and owed HMRC millions, we owe fuck all to anyone. Surely they cannot materially sabotage us, can they? Surely we would fight the bastards and even call in political cover? Or am I being a fanny wipe :-)

The charges are way more serious than that. It's not a concerted plan to destroy MCFC, these are allegations of serious financial misdeeds that unfortunately helped the club acquire and pay players they would otherwise not be able to afford. As punitive as you think this may seem, it had to come out at some point.

More likely the club was butting up against the PL rules on how quickly your wage bill grows year on year. We would have been paying off all of Hughes' staff and then adding all of Mancini's (not to mention we'd also just bought Barry, RSC, Tevez, Adebayor, Kolo, Lescott and Vieira so the wage bill would have been growing incredibly).
The actual ammounts are not crazy. 3.25m/year - Pep's on 7x that!
