PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Some great points being made on the twitter spaces rundown of today's announcement. The biggest for me is that this announcement will begin conversations in the likes of Whitehall as one of our main trading parties as a country is the UAE.

You can't have one the UKs biggest exports in the premier league accuse one of it's biggest contributors in Manchester City of 9 years of fraudulent accounts with the associations we have to the UAE.

Khaldoon and the other associated board members at City will be making some pretty big phone calls over the coming weeks and months which could affect this country's foreign policy.
If it gets political it could also affect the Government white paper regarding the PL. We know the PL don't want outside interference. A courageous decision by the PL, as Sir Humphrey might tell them :)

we need to throw everything at it to clear our name for sure.
we also need to drop some bombs in terms of dirt on rival clubs brought to surface, when if not now?

many stood up for the PL when the ESL campaign popped up, but we should have let this rotten organization to see their best 5-6 clubs leave rather than having 19 clubs laughing into our face now.

of course those rotten cartel clubs would have turned on us in ESL too later on.
