PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

What a fuckin mess hey? And Everton have been put on notice that unless they sell half their squad before June 30th 2024, they've ANOTHER dose of FFP/PSR fines coming their way at the beginning of next season, whether they survive the drop or not...
If it's only a 2 point deduction, they would be better keeping them all and taking their chances

Apparently, this breach was bigger than their original one, & the next purported breach is projected to be the biggest of the lot.

On this basis, shouldn't the punishment for each subsequent breach be more punitive than the last? Where's the consistency?

This is further proof the PL are just making shit up on the hoof, as more clubs unitendedly fall foul of their FFP/PSR rules meant to only punish & crush Manchester City.

And yet after approaching 40 years of the PL being in charge and seperate from the EFL, Britain has the deepest and best attended footbally pyramid in Europe and the Championship is the 7th or 8th richest league in the world.

This is pretty central to my point, a lot of posters are depserate to come at the Premier League from the perspective that it's failing and not fit for purpose...but it's just not. It's one of the most successful businesses and industries in the country. It's got some potential long term problems on the horizon, but they're taking steps to fix them by exploring changing regulations.
They are damaging the sporting integrity of the league by making points deductions. They will then compound their mistakes if they change the rules that could have potentially have led to clubs being relegated.
