PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The pl is a shambles.

We have clubs being docked points for trying to improve their squad or statiums. These clubs aren't in financially trouble. They might be should this lead to relegation.
One team has just been taken over and are loaded but can't invest and might need to sell players to avoid points deduction. Again this club isn't in any financial trouble.
Another club has spent millions in build the greatest team every seen. Had invested millions into the local community and has been charged with 115 charges.

Yet one club has nearly a billion in debt been fined by UEFA for braking their ffp but bizarrely haven't broken the pl ffp. Want us tax payers to pay for a new statium.
Another club claim 50 million on statium improvements yet not a penny has been spent. Sane club also failed UEFA ffp twice.

The pl is so fucking bent its a national disgrace

They are damaging the sporting integrity of the league by making points deductions.

This is such a nothing comment.

Who are “they” when all of these rules and processes were invented and agreed to by the 20 clubs themselves?

Can you even define sporting integrity?

Because I doubt you’ll find a definition of sporting integrity which allows for blatant cheating without consequences but can’t accept sporting punishments.

Everton and Forest have damaged the integrity of the competition, not the Premier League that did their job as prescribed to them by the clubs.

Apparently, this breach was bigger than their original one, & the next purported breach is projected to be the biggest yet.

On this basis, shouldn't the punishment for each subsequent breach be more punitive than the last? Where's the consistency?

This is further proof the PL are just making shit up on the hoof, as more clubs unitendedly fall foul of their FFP/PSR rules meant to only punish & crush Manchester City.

It’s 2 points as they don’t want Everton to appeal due to the time it would take.

However, it’s going to now be factored into Forests appeal.

It’s an absolute mess and something needs to be changed.

PL have proved themselves inept

The PL have got a bloody nerve. They are now mounting a campaign against the independent regulator, claiming that unintended consequences of regulation will damage the league’s competitiveness. What do they think their current regulations do?
Middling clubs are having to sell players to avoid points deduction. The top six are sitting pretty, safe in the knowledge that it is well nigh impossible for any club to challenge them.

Apparently, Everton are planning an appeal because of this, the previous breach & the next breach on the horizon, all overlapping with each other.

The PL said this punishment has taken the breach overlaps into account, but Everton are aploplectic with rage & feel they're being hit with treble jeopardy.

This is disingenuous.

The rules themselves are phenomenally stupid and so lead to phenomenally stupid sanctions when applied.

They are the antithesis of fair sporting competition because they make it nigh on impossible for an 'outside' club to challenge a select few at the top.
