Let’s say you were on pints terms with “top top top” figures - I’m thinking Khaldoon, Masters, someone from the panel - the last person they’re going to tell anything of this importance to is the guy who goes on Talksport to answer questions on this very topic. The guy who could literally have a slip of the tongue, show some particularly obvious body language etc that basically gives the game away.

You’re literally the last person they would tell.

Surely the truth, as often happens, is in the middle. Perhaps City have not had the official statement which is still being written but someone has tipped them the nod. Perhaps the PL also don’t have the official decision but still want to get shot of Masters.

It’s amazing where these sort of leaks come from. The MPs expenses scandal started with a leak from a disgruntled office cleaner.
 
Lets work on the basis that I have no information and am completely wrong.

What plausible explanation can anyone offer as to how despite the release of the decision months ago, the only person in the whole of the World with any sort of platform that has been informed of this incredible story is on Bluemoon. It has not leaked anywhere else, it is not rumoured in any column, not by any club, not by any journalist, not in any DM I have ever received etc etc. How is the one person with this EXPLOSIVE story, PB.

And no, that doesn't apply to my "nobody knows yet". Nobody knows yet is the commonly held view across all clubs, all journalists, all people around the Bar, all people in the sports disputes world. So, if true PB, is sitting on a global exclusive.

How has this incredible story remained so secret but slipped out just the once and into the hands of PB. What an incredible turn of events.

Rule X is not the same as Rule W ie this is Disciplinary and not APT like arbitration. It has to be released. Rule X stuff doesn't

Unless it’s already been mentioned,could it be that the decision hasn’t been released but the premier league for whatever reason had previously asked for it too be withheld for an extra few months anyhow..
