.... on the run.Only another 95 to go. Then we'll have won 115 league titles.
The last time Spurs won the league, I wasn't even a stirring in my dad's pants.... and I'm a grandfather now. They could introduce extra points for 'history'. Although that wouldn't help Spurs as the last time they won the title, I was in short pants.
We can’t possibly agree to a settlement that involves football sanctions or leaves us open to legal claims from other clubs or, worst case, could be seen as admitting criminal conduct. The media narrative is changing with even a hint of blaming the PL for the mess, you can see the ground is being prepared for a way out but from what I have been told the only way out for City is complete exoneration no settlement that implies any kind of guilt, I believe this is where the impasse is, they should have believed Khaldoon when he said the club would not take anymore pinches.
I can also see the PL's side in this, this whole charade was rushed through (and we do suspect who rushed it) it was broken down into the 115 narrative in order to do the maximum dame to the club, but now it's damaging the PL, the only way out is a full tribunal hearing that City will win, and the lack of evidence will be embarrassing, how do they get out of this hole? For a start the media lackies are stopping digging them deeper watch this space
Masters will have to take the whole blame for it!
He will have to say he was wrong charging us and was new naive in his new job. Because I just don't see anyone coming out blaming the other clubs which hunt against us..
I don’t think we should let them off without a comment. We can say they were possibly concerned but more than likely opportunistic that something may stick & wanted to impact the growth of a club with ambitions of being the biggest in world football!
Yep I think this as well. They will have to prove what they have alleged, or take the failure to do so squarely on the chin and the consequences that come with it.To be frank, I think this is missing the point.
Ultimately, the PL has accused the club of accounting fraud, and their evidence will have to be cogent and extensive to prove that.
Agree but can't see that happening Masters is the sacrificial lamb I'd expect
I've just been done for driving whilst not wearing a seat belt and using a mobile phone in 1974.They changed the rules it's quite simple really, the club say they complied with the rules as they stood, and you can not retrogressively charge people for breaking a rule or law that did not exist at the time
