PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Off topic, but that photo brought back happy memories of him amazingly scoring a breakaway goal, rounding the Sheffield Utd keeper like a centre forward. Everyone was laughing as much as they were cheering at the shock of him scoring at all, never mind in such style.

He did his forward roll right in front of us at the North Stand end of the Kippax. A truly unforgettable moment. Good lad was Kenny Clements.

I seem to remember him scoring a cracking diving header at the Platt Lane end in his 2nd stint. Only problem is, I can’t remember if it was an OG or not :)

I watched a podcast last night and Trevor Sinclair was on and he was saying when he worked in Abu Dhabi there was a tussel between Qatar and Abu Dhabi for the rights over who gets to show the Premier League and the champions league.
Abu Dhabi got the Premier League, Qatar the champions league.

Then when it came to renegotiation Qatar bought both rights for the PL and CL, severely pissing Abu Dhabi off and in the process making 100s redundant, Including Sinclair.

I never knew all this happened until I watched this. Isn't there a Qatar member of PSG on the board at UEFA? I'm kind of joining the dots here and wondering if they had anything to do with the Uefa case with us?

I have a feeling this has already been apologies if so, but I wonder if any of these keyboard warriors on twitter calling themselves journalists are on the payroll of something connected to Qatar and all these allegations and mud slinging originates from as mentioned Qatar?

Hmm.

I don't think so. They are just eejits. Oops ....

I do believe we'll be found innocent of all serious charges, but ,the premier league, may charge us with non cooperation, on certain things, which isn't an admission of guilt by the way. What I would like to see,if that happens, is a detailed document explaining the reasons why, so they can't be interpreted, by all the agenda seeking tossers to suit their narrative.

And that is what you will get if they find us guilty of any of the charges there has to be documented reasoning as to why they have found us guilty of that specifically.

That would be nice but then we would have to assume they would actually read the document. Not just smash their heads into the keyboard while shouting about corruption. CAS said no evidence. Still pleeeeeeenty of morons out there saying it was brown envelopes and it was only time barring.

Last year I remember Tolmie saying with certainty that Erling was coming to City. There were those who believed him and those who most certainly did not and were keen to make sure everyone knew it. Gradually Tolmie explained that he knew this not because of something he'd heard but because of something he had seen. Some time after Erling had signed he explained that he had seen forms concerning his medical insurance. This tells us that Tolmie is not an animated ventriloquist's dummy who simply repeats willy nilly what he hears but someone with contacts who listens and then evaluates it as evidence. This tweet is very definite, Tolmie is very sure and even though he hasn't identified the source we all know Tolmie well enough to know that we would be very wise to take it very seriously. I am certain one of the first things Tolmie has asked is if his source(s) is/are in a position to know or express a valid opinion and he must be satisfied on this point. Does experience show their opinion to be an informed and trustworthy one? If Tolmie is satisfied that the source is both credible and reliable. That doesn't mean that what Tolmie says will inevitably come to pass but it is to be taken seriously and is very encouraging. From me, and many others, thank you Tolmiw.
Personally i will always remember his clues about David Silva signing for us - "oranges and lemons" was the clue, which was a reference to Valencia's well established and renowned growing for said citrus fruits in that region of Spain!
