PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Seriously, if City are Successful does anyone have a Number 1 Journo Target they think the Club will go for?

Don’t disagree with any of that but the original question was framed around ‘going after’ people and there are no discernible grounds to do that in terms of Roan. I’d love the **** to be banned, just for shits and giggles but there’s no chance of that happening imo.
Couldn’t he be banned for entering the stadium the other week with a dodgy ticket?

Neville was banned from forest. After the initial negative news headlines he is still banned isn't he?

Same should go for our rival pundits (who would have thought that actually exists!). Any United or Liverpool or arsenal fan pundit who constantly spews poison whilst at our ground about our club should and could be banned. That is a business decision tbh. Can't have that.

I think the club could do that on "safety grounds" if it felt so inclined. Something along the lines of "due to their provocative and inflammatory coverage of the case".

Not sure "going after" the free press is something Id like to see, especially considering who our owners are not sure if it's a good look. As long as the verdict is transparent and totally exonerates the owners of any wrong doing, I will settle for that, the worst thing you can do to a journalist is hurt their credibility. A lot of people could be left with egg on their faces.
It's not "going after" the free press if they're openly lying to the general public, that's holding someone to account for misusing their platform. That's why we have laws around press standards, someone ensuring the free press don't abuse their position is the right of any individual, regardless of who they are or where they're from.

Honest opinion?

The press lost that right to not being held to account years ago, phone hacking virtue signalling and just downright lying.

It shouldn't be treated like the profession it was, mostly it's a disgrace and needs calling out.

I don't know why people are so surprised that Goldbridge is an out of town rag, aren't they all?
He's not even that, he's a Forest fan who made a business decision to pretend to be a rag for the subs, likes and retweets. The sad thing about it is that they fall for it, over and over. The internet can be an amazing invention, it can also be depressing.

The only way back is by curtailing our freedoms and taking away peoples ability to talk shit mate, don't get me wrong I think that's coming.

The world is moving too fast even for the young 'uns to get a handle on.
