PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

What have Spurs done to be called "big"? No league title for more than 60 years doesn't make them big. All they have is a shiny new stadium with a large catchment area plus...importantly...London prices. Big profits assured doesn't make them big in status.

Aren't they in the top ten of everything in football history in the uk?

The definition of “big” differs depending on who you’re talking to. It’s a dick measuring contest that in the grand scheme of things means nothing.
City are, have always been and will always be the biggest club in my world.

They won the FA cup in 1981. Ricky Villa goal of the century. Every year that ends in a 1 they win a major trophy. Chaz and Dave, Ozzy on his way to Wembley, ozzy gonna do it again. Glen Hoddle.

Rubbish. They won bugger all in 2001, 2011, and 2021 (not to mention 1931). That is unless you count the Vodacom Challenge won in 2011?

Plenty of so called 'smaller clubs' including Ipswich Town, Derby County, Nottingham Forest, Leicester City, and Blackburn Rovers have all won League titles since Spurs. Equally some traditionally 'big clubs' including Everton, Villa, and Leeds, now fallen on hard times have all been League Champions in the same period.

You forgot Liverpool. Plucky underdog on a shoestring budget who miraculously and heroically won a premier league title
