It is a plausible theory. I was directly involved in a similar high profile case and hearing (not sports related). What happened was that both parties were sent a copy of the Judges' statement on the Friday to prepare for a joint public release on the Monday. Only three senior people saw this document in my organisation and there were strict non-disclosure warnings at pain of ending your career. It ruined my weekend because I had to oversee the comms strategy which was very complex (lots of other related organisations also had a lot of risk). Nothing leaked out and it all went smoothly on the Monday. It wasn't a criminal case but it did ultimately lead to a criminal prosecution. So a Monday release must be favourite (less messy than a Friday which is often a sabotage tactic if one side controls the date). Of course I have no idea if this Monday is our D-Day.Personally, I think that it’ll come on Monday. If they recieve it today, that should be enough time to read through it. The PL like Mondays and intl breaks. This Monday is a Monday on an intl break!
