PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

From what you're saying i don't think it's believed that the panel is actually independent?

My no.1 fear has always been that it was never going to be (despite the protestations of some of our resident legal eagles) with agent Masters getting to choose who would compile said panel. His choice of an Arsenal season ticket holder did little to assuage the nagging worry that this was always intended to be an exercise in tailoring the evidence to fit the ‘crime’. Hope I’m spectacularly wrong, but this is a multi-billion dollar business and we’re dealing with utter cnuts (the PL, not the panel)…………

After having a conversation in the pub last night with someone who knows fuck all about football I can confidentially say that the result of all the 115 charges brought against us will be announced on a day with a " Y " in it.
Don't ask for his name as I won't tell you.
did he leave a dodgy bike outside and keep an eye on it ;)

So there was generally a high level of confidence that September would be the month for some sort of verdict/announcement. Now that has come and gone, what are the thoughts on October?
International break is now a dead cert. So was March, and every other international break we have.

Murray Rosen KC is a distinguished sports arbitrator. I think City withdrew their original objection to him or at least were pacified and persuaded of his fair approach. He chose the panel but I don’t think he sat on it.

Tbf under the current rules both are comfortably within the rules.

We have spent similar amounts (net) over last 12 months or so and we are also well within the rules.
They may be this year but surely they’ll be restricted over the next few seasons as it’s a rolling amount .. or they would have been if PSR wasn’t disappearing

I know. The ‘utter cnuts’ I’m referring to are Masters and the red shirts who gave him their seal of approval. Given the vigour the PL has pursued us with (compared with its recent ‘lift carpet and apply broom’ approach to Chelsea’s admitted misdemeanours), I’m loathe to believe they would have been casual about who got to pick the panel. They would surely have selected the candidate they felt most likely to ultimately deliver them both the panel and result they so clearly crave and, for whatever reason, that candidate was Rosen

Well the guy down the chip shop that swears he's Elvis told me that the government are set to rename the days of the week and the letter Y won't be used!

Yep
City Lose-City fans "corrupt"
City Win-none City fans "corrupt"

was there any confirmation on the Chelsea charges why the FA brought those and not the PL?
is the PL still going to charge them same way with similar punishments possible like in our 115 case?
or was it a ploy to move these to FA so punishments can be significantly smaller and also because the charges wont be denied by Chelsea obviously unlike in our case.

really strange all of a sudden FA steps in when its Chelsea but its PL and strict PSR rules when its City.

Surprised that even this aspect, the panel, has been 100% watertight.
Using as much AI probing and guesswork, the 'machines' think these 3 are the most likely to be the panel, with Teare doubling up 115 with APT.

David Phillips KC (Chair)
Kate Gallafent KC (Panel Member)
Sir Nigel Teare (Panel Member, with Beloff or Dyson as alternatives)

It was independent in the Apt case and the Leicester case. These people are respected and professional KC's to be biased in the case against City is more than their collective reputions are worth.

Fair enough. I don’t share your worries but I know nowt.

Screenshot_3-10-2025_12320_www.emmascrivener.net.jpeg...we need to get to the bottom of who Mr van What-dya-call-him is and who his Deep Throat informants are, or there's a risk that we'll be misreading his post and believing it to be some sort of Premier League press release.

So, in order to stop us all from going round in circles for days...

...I'll start...
Have you got blonde hair? :)
