PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I know where your coming from but I want our acheivements to be admired by all, not sullied.
I want others to remember the Pep era as a great pure football acheivement and I want to look back with pride. I can't do that currently.
We lost all admiration from other fans as soon as the charges landed and we've, the club, done nothing to arrest back control of the situation since then.
And won't do until there is a verdict in our favour.
I would hope we would go full on "Godfather I ending" once a verdict arrives in our favour but I doubt even that will happen
The club will probably put the verdict in a safe place and use it as a legal shillelagh to batter anyone who steps out of line.

I don't feel I need to. That wasn't the point of my post. I was just pointing out that in the real world businesses (and that's what both City and the PL are at the end of the day) try to figure out what's best for their own continuity and come to an agreement so that both parties move on. What happens when the office nutcase tries to claim unfair dismissal? More often than not a deal is cut behind the scenes to avoid lengthy legal proceedings and bad PR making its way to that company's client and prospect base. City getting slammed isn't a good outcome for City but it's also a terrible outcome for the PL which is why I think it's the least likely outcome.
City took a hit with UEFA in 2014 we won't be making that mistake again.

If The PL had wanted to avoid lengthy legal proceedings they’re going about it in a very strange way. They may well be keen to extricate themselves now but it’s too late for anything other than an admission of failure on their part

So the PL can make baseless accusations about any team and then argue for a deal? Pretty sure that’s mafia tactics. The PL have slit their own throats with this, whatever happens.

And... there it is, the mask has slipped.

You did well to keep up appearances for so long.

For the record, City were found innocent by CAS. If you are found guilty of something, and a higher court decides that was the wrong verdict, you are cleared, you don't stay guilty. And anyone that tries to pretend otherwise is a bitter twat. Through that little twist, your agenda is pretty fucking clear.

You will no doubt stick about like an obsessive weirdo, but you are not fooling that many any more.
In fairness he did caveat early on by saying he was watching AFTV - in this instance I believe it just a harmless wind up attempt than malicious ;)

There will be no deal as it will allow people to carry on the smear campaign, which we have endured for the last 10 years.
The Cas ruling cleared City of all chargeses except the non cooperation one.
The ruling from that committee, stated there was no evidence of any wrong doing on any of the chargeses brought up by UEFA and that included the one that were time barred.
You and the media have chosen to ignore that ruling as it does not suit your agenda.
Instead of coming on here pontificating, go and read the Cas ruling and count the times the words " no evidence was found "
When you get to double figures, let that sink in and reflect that you might just be wrong in your assumptions.
And whilst you are still here, what are your views on your club being sponsored by the Emirates organisation and your view's on your clubs, Rwanda agreement and how did you feel about Mr Usminov owning a stake in your club ?
Or the gentleman who's wealth was founded on exploiting cheap labour in Africa ?
In my original post I stated that Arsenal weren't exactly whiter than white and that there are skeletons in the closet.

I'm not here in a willy waving guise, I was just commenting on the whole charges thread as a whole. Clearly in hindsight that wasn't a wise move but I'm finding some members are ignoring the post as a whole but zeroing in on a few words of it and trying to spin it out like I've somehow been hiding under the surface on this forum for nearly a year and then right at the end, after all the prizes have been given out, have decided to come out screaming about charges Like a demented William Wallace. What would the point even be of doing that?

The point of your post was telling us the most likely outcome. Explain WHY you think that. Surely?

The fact that your post stinks of how guilty we are and how the natural development is "a deal"... showed me you know fuck all about the charges except what you have read in the media.

Explain one charge. Explain why we will only get a 20pt deduction?

Otherwise we are just dealing with another knobhead who gets his info from the newspapers and AFTV trying to be nice and cosy up to what you see as a doomed, guilty club .

Explain the thinking behind your comments. Simple enough or might educate us all on here. More likely though it will prove that you just believe whatever you read on twitter.
