PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The scary thing about them is they could be anywhere. They look just like you or me (but with their trousers too high, a bit of plastic tape on their glasses, and pens in their pocket).
"is that a pen in your pocket or are you just pleased to audit me?"

Remember to bear in mind that these red fuckers need us to be guilty, or otherwise what's the alternative for them? That we're better than they are.

They've been fed the myth that they're the best there's ever been by the arselicking media for years, in a mutual wanking club where they'll buy any shite that gets put out as long as it tells them how "big" and how good they are. ou've got bellends like Harris, unemployed, but monetising "115" and milking the morons, and even pretending to be someone else to make 2x the dough. Who gives a fuck how many packets of noodles, or nivea they sell. The only thing is trophies, and not how many trophies but when you last won it. Bunch of mard arsed needy fuckers.

Rags haven't won the league for 10 years, scousers once in 30 odd years, Arsenal 20 years ago. Spurs, we've been closer to nuclear war than they have to winning the league, so they can just fuck off.
When you see it written like this, the charges make sense. The biggest clubs in the world don’t seem to be able to win leagues consistently with or without city.

That last paragraph shows how badly run the greedy Americans are and secondly how amazing well city is run to come from such a long way back to trample over the history clubs.

I would say those clubs have an awful lot of questions to answer, certainly more than 115 anyway.

The redshirt clubs are like nations with wooden ships as their navy. They think it's terribly unfair that some other country, that they hardly noticed before now, has developed steel warships armed with explosive shells that can blow them out of the water. Why can't they just stick to cannonballs and windpower like us, they ask?

In short, they want to live in a past age.

This is just wrong.

The clamour to find us guilty is led by the media, but that's not because they hate winners. It's because a clamour to find us guilty generates significantly more revenue than would a clamour to find us innocent.

The media are in it for themselves - for the money.

This works in a number of ways. Self evidently, there is much more engagement in anything that says 'City are guilty' than in the opposite. This is because fans of the most popular teams all want us to be guilty, therefore will engage more actively with anything that reflects that. Every single media outlet with any serious presence has explored the 'City are Guilty' story from numerous angles, and they have all gone down very well with a lot of people who get to read the stories they want to read.

Of course, it is not just a question of what gets clicks. The stories that are planted and leaked, they are done by individuals with their own agenda. What might be in it for the journalists writing this stuff up? Access? Further leaks? Off-the-record briefings? There is a long history of journalism being a two-way-street - you scratch my back etc.

The important point is that this is not some particular quirk of the British people. There are vested interests at work. That is why there is such a clamour to find City guilty.
Sounds about right, the same with our transfers, they become big stories with signing on and agents fees etc. What is never mentioned is that over the last few years we have received over half a billion incoming to balance the books, which most opposition fans seem unaware of. probably because it's a story that doesn't get the engagement.
