Your opinion is fine but there is only one country in the world that defines beer in law.
Germany.
Not much bitter, “ real” ale of your taste there.
Even a dictionary definition of beer describes the process that includes lager.

German beer are spot on. No added loopy juice chemicals they put in the ales here.

I think Guinness used to contain fructose corn syrup but, I think they claim it no longer does but refuse to disclose a list of ingredients.
