PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

On the bright side, there's gonna be some losses in some roles in the media in about 10-12 weeks regardless of the result. Most have stole/created a living regurgitating the same stories for the last few years. They're pretty much making themselves redundant after fleecing it for so long.

Checkout guy at morrisons sees my hat and starts on about 115 etc, what do you know about them I ask Oh Allsorts ain't it. Lot of bother for a pack of sweets then say I and leave him with his gob wide open, oh and better dead than red, shocked doesn't actually cover it lol

"1, 2, 3, 4.
Pannick & James Mather,
Marshall & Paul Harris,
Rhodri Thomas, Clifford Chance (Clifford Chance).
Best defence in Europe,
We're Manchester City,
On our way to the PL hearing.
Whoah, oh, we're the boys in blue.
Whoah, oh, coming after you"
Brilliant !! Just need to find out where the hearing is which hopefully has 3 syllables :)

Will we get any snippets of info coming out ?
I'd have thought it would be nigh on impossible not to get wind of anything until the day the verdict drops in public. City are clearly exuding confidence in private and that confidence has ended up in the public domain so I'd imagine anything significant regarding the hearing - good or bad - may find its way out of the club too.

It's more simple than that. If Mansour is so influential in AD that he can get directors and shareholders of some heavily regulated international companies to effectively commit fraud and perjure themselves in front of CAS, why would he not just have used his influence to persuade the AD government to increase their funding of Etisalat/Etihad so they could fully pay the sponsorship themselves? The amounts involved are completely immaterial to the AD government. It doesn't make any sense, unless you assume Mansour is an idiot.
ironically it's probably only idiots that make that assumption
