PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Complaint to Home of Roan Incoming

"Man City case 'moral reward' for Football Leaks hacker, lawyer claims".

The above headline echoes the purpose of this article, which is clearly intended to defend a convicted extortionist whose corrupted evidence was comprehensively exposed by CAS two years ago after it was misused by UEFA to charge Manchester City with sponsorship wrongdoing under pressure from its elite rivals . Those same teams now control the Premier League, forcing it to repeat their earlier failed attempt to damage City using the identical doctored emails and once again relying on the full-throated support of your Sports Editor Dan Roan to endorse their blatantly racist, anti-arab media narratives. This outrageous piece is just the latest example of Roan's many attempts to smear the club following his permanent banning by them in 2012 for lying about Patrick Vieira.*
Over the years he has abused his position by enthusiastically promoting every element of the redshirt cartel's relentless anti-City propaganda campaign as it moved from 'state ownership' to 'financial doping' to 'sportswashing' and now the 'dirty cheating oil club ' slur. When these current confected charges are again dismissed as baseless the BBC will surely have to answer for his conduct (and that of subordinates under his direction) in nearly a decade of disgracefully biased reporting about Man City by our national broadcaster and the reputational damage it has unjustly inflicted as a result.

The last paragraph of the article is interesting:

"In 2023, as a separate trial in Paris, Pinto also received a six-month suspended sentence after admitting to illegally accessing confidential information on PSG."

If PSG or the French authorities prosecuted Pinto for this, why didn't City or our authorities do the same? If Pinto illegally accessed information about United, Liverpool, Arsenal or the Premier League there would have been a prosecution. We know that there's one rule for a certain set of clubs, one rule for the others and a totally different set of rules for us and a set that certainly doesn't defend us whatsoever.

I just hope that once we are cleared of any wrongdoing that the club do not leave it at that.

Surely we have to retaliate in some form as not to do so, after all the relentless shit we have had to endure would look strange even to the most stupid of fuckwits.

The club, it's achievements on and off the pitch, in fact everything we have achieved full stop since 2008 has been smeared and tarnished on the back of a witch hunt orchestrated by the red tops and their puppets. UEFA before them.

Any business that has endured what we have, year after year, then being found innocent would be expected to seek some form of retribution and retaliation

To do nothing, then our haters, would then almost certainly go on the narrative of us "getting away with it" or we paid people off and that's why were keeping quiet.

I can't see us going " nuclear " As much as this would be good to see, but it has to end once and for all. At the very least we need to make everyone aware that if slander or libel persists post an innocent verdict, then those individuals or organisations will feel the full force of our legal team with no prisoners taken.

Until then we must trust in the club and wait for the verdict that the club is clearly and confidently expecting in some 10 - 16 weeks time.

He’s as thick as pig shit. While City have won 2 PL titles during his career as a United player, the Rags finished 7th in the second of those title-winning seasons so what makes the **** think he’d get a winners medal for that?
You've saved me posting exactly this.
Obviously he's not the brightest light on the Xmas tree. Unless he's suggesting finishing 7th wins you a medal. CTID

Another day in financial paradise or purgatory catching up on this thread -:)

The bbc tho, what more can you say about that organisation? It’s in a pitiful state and does not represent the views of rational decent people. It’s akin to the rags, once on top and a beacon but now it just needs put out of its misery. City gladly obliged with the former.

Tic tock bbc, tic tock.

I see Pinto and his lawyers have been playing hero to the media. Big game for City coming up, no update on the charges so just get the original source of things to say something. Suggestions they have plenty more to uncover as well, not just on City but other clubs... Wonder if there's anything to it, regarding other club's conduct in particular. Would hazard a guess they've fuck all and it's just a play to try and help the legal case they're dealing with.
