PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The only thing that will happen after the outcome of the 115 will be,that stooge masters will be fucked off along with other members of the premier league hierarchy,but nothing will change as it’ll be similar people put into positions of power and again vetted by the rags,red scousers and arsenal..

Incompetent is too polite. The PL is a narcissistic establishment where the lunatics are running the asylum. Its sole purpose is to make money at the physical cost of the players, but in particular at the monetary and emotional cost of you and me, the everyday fan who just wants a level playing field and would rather not have to pay absurd amounts of money to watch our team whilst simulateously being treated like something that fell out the back of a dog if the club decides a different demographic -read wealthy 'tourists' who pay massively over the odds from resellers (who get the tickets and share the margins with people at the club) can make them more money (and then we wonder why we have to bring in fake 'ultras' to create an atmosphere).

How the heck has the PL screwed that up? It's absurd. Some other team may end up going down this season because the PL fucked up the one fucking job they had to do which was run the game correctly. And the lawsuits will follow, no doubt about that.

Regarding the current APT lawsuit City brought, and the ongoing 115 case, to be honest I don't trust any of it that we'll get to the actual 'truth'. It's because football clubs' prime reason to exist is to make money and the PL is the supposed kingpin that makes that happen. And in such a closed, unregulated environment the chances are it'll all be corrupt as fuck as nobody wants to stop the gravy train and backhanders. Just look at how corrupt FIFA, UEFA, the IOC etc have all proven to be. All unregulated fiefdoms. The PL is the same, of that I have no doubt.

Personally I'd fuck the PL off and create a new league. Let clubs spend whatever they want, the one caveat being a strict limit on the amount of debt you can be in. Like actual debt, not some made up FFP bollocks rules.

Thanks , I suppose I was just asking specifically if you thought the PL was incompetent?that because of its incompetence in enacting the rules correctly in the case of the APT system it had resulted in a lot of costs for all clubs in thsi instance. Ie this current shit show is down to them and not City?

I did it a while back, some tosser in the supermarket going on with himself, I just acted like he wasn't there, felt so liberating walking off as he threw obscenities my way.

Well whether they won the case or not those legal bills would still be there right? Due to the fact City went to court about it. And it wasn't a case of APT rules being enacted incompetently, City challenged them saying they were unfair (in particular the latest amendment about how these APT deals are approved and the l
process involved in that).

How much the rules will change as a result is yet to be determined - we'll have to see but my understanding is that 60% of PL clubs will need to approve any changes that do happen.

I guess if bills rack up and that cuts into PL clubs' income streams then the clubs have the right to demand a better way of working.

But for each case 50% of the bills are levied on City so the same applies to City as well I guess.

Perhaps a simplification of the rules that everyone is happy with would be the way to go rather than creating a complex legal framework that all clubs try to find loopholes in anyway (does anyone want to buy a hotel?).

I agree, let's simplify the rules IE remove them all so that clubs can spend what they want . Just like it was when Arsenal last won the PL. Then we wouldn't have this nonsense would we.
