I would think that the fact you are posting what she said on this site tells you exactly why she would keep her cards close to her chest on the clubs real thoughts on media bias.

She doesn't work for the club anymore so what's the problem? I've alluded to this story before on here but never mentioned who said it because she was employed by the club at the time. What next? That none of our ITKs are allowed to share info that they get from the club?

I never met her but, from the outside what I saw was she wasn't delivering it's fair to say what I or many fans wanted from her position.

I assume however, her output was what the club wanted as she was around for a long time.

My impression disingenuous or not was that she was 'in for an easy life' and didn't want to jump in the vipers nest and cause herself any stress.

If you knew anything about the job Vicky did at City you wouldn't be accusing her of choosing an easy life, far from it, her job was every waking hour, she didn't get a proper break The club were reluctant to see her leave but, appreciated her reasons. I wouldn't rule out for a return for her in the future in some role

True. Just because I disagreed with her view that there was no media bias against us, doesn't mean I don't think she's done a good job at the club overall.

As I understand it, Vicky's husband was a barrister in Manchester who was made a Judge over in Yorkshire. Him moving to Yorkshire and Vicky deciding she was knackered from the City job were more or less simultaneous. If that's how that family decision played out, you can understand it.

You need to lighten up sunshine. I'm fully aware of the implications of putting certain ideas into print on banners, and no I wouldn't expect anyone at the club to be particularly in favour of something of that nature. Speaking of bizarre, that doesn't explain Vicky's view that the media are no more biased against City than any other club though.

She’s media savvy so she’s careful what view she wants out there. Pep has said similar but I’m certain he doesn’t think it, they just know how it will be spun.

There is another way of looking at this.

As City are in the Premier League we're obliged to follow its rules, but I'm not sure whether these rules cover the setting up of this independent panel, I somehow doubt it. Even if such a panel is allowed, if it's truly independent are we not in uncharted territory? This panel isn't the Premier League, it isn't some hybrid CAS and it isn't a court of law, yet City seem happy to sign up for it! Why? We could've told the Premier League to put up or shut up, told them "you say we've broken all these rules, so where's your evidence and what's the punishment?"

But we didn't.

Imagine for a moment that the Chair and the Chief Executive of the PL are struggling between a rock and a hard place. We know that four years ago the PL was strong armed by four clubs into this investigation, four clubs we now know were the UK driving force for a European Super League, so they have form for throwing their weight around and are clearly no fans of the present PL structure.

We all know who they are.

So four years go by, and the PL finds bugger all on City and they're quietly letting it fade away.

Up pops the four clubs again demanding the PL nail City, but the PL still has bugger all on us.

Bingo! Says the PL, we know City are innocent, or at least we can't find anything to the contrary, so we'll set up this independent panel who'll fuck about for a few years and then come to the same conclusion as us, namely these charges are a crock. We'll then turn to the four clubs driving this fiasco, with maybe two of them now under new ownership and say we did our best, but the not guilty verdict is in, nowt to do with us. And City are happy to go along with this coz we're helping the PL Chair and the Chief Exec out of a bind, and now we're best buddies.

I've no idea if this is the case, it ticks a few boxes and might explain City's relaxed attitude.

Agree with most of that , especially your last paragraph , it appears the Premier league are going through the motions at the behest of a few clubs , over a hundred charges is a complete joke , probably at least one hundred of them will fall at the first hurdle.
Whatever the outcome we will always be seen as the villians , we should be used to it by now.

There are becoming far too many of these idiots and far too many people ( on here included) believing the whole world is one big conspiracy.

The thing is with conspiracies is they can be right on so many things, wrong on a few & stark raving bonkers on a couple. It’s always the stark raving bonkers which gets discussed & used as a reason not to believe anything.
Maybe judge it all in isolation & on its merits.
