Not sure anyone here gives a shit about Chelseas green shoots to be fairI have never hidden that fact the irony is it would have been easier to do so.
I actually don’t give a toss one way or the other what the PL tribunal concludes that probably makes me unique in terms of the posters on this thread .
Been an awful season but most of the purchases are with seasons to come in mind.
Was at SB on Tuesday and green shoots are there
I do !Not sure anyone here gives a shit about Chelseas green shoots to be fair
Rag!I do !
But you can’t resist CitehI do !
Keep up the good work, Sheriff :-)Just read all your posts from January..Interestingly nothing on City games, players, performances, just comments on this matter..strange that..RAG shit stirrer if I am not mistaken.
Its plausible that it isn't quite as comfortable behind the scenes in terms of us getting off the charges and admin staff are catching wind of this? I don't think this is the case, or should I say I certainly hope not but its plausible. It just seems odd that so many are going to what seem a backward step in terms of clubs as the other user has very cleverly pointed out.....What makes you think it would affect the admin staff?
How do you work that one out. We’ve always lost staff to other clubs because they are so well trained & naturally feel they can do it on their own. Most don’t but they have to tryIts plausible that it isn't quite as comfortable behind the scenes in terms of us getting off the charges and admin staff are catching wind of this? I am merely speculating of course and is likely not linked at all..... but it could be.

Thought you might be interested to read my second everpost on this forum some 10 years agoHow has a Chelsea fan been on here for ten years without me knowing and why doesn't it say,
"team supported - Chelsea" under it's name?

How did that DeBruyne lad do when he came back?Thought you might be interested to read my second everpost on this forum some 10 years ago
Chelsea fan here.
You shouldn't be beating yourselves up too much re this season as winning back to backs is another step something that you will achieve but for some reason the powers that be at Man City appeared , to me, to think that you were already there and your transfer dealings far from improving you as a team did the exact opposite.
As we have found moving very well paid players on is not easy and with these type of players still on your wage bill is an issue as many will just allow their contracts to wind down or if you can get them to agree to move on then that also comes at huge cost.
Next season we will be letting a lot of players leave I suspect that will be likewise your clubs aim.
For us the likes of Ferria, Moulda, Beyoun, Lampard, Bruma, Hilario,& Turnball to name just a few whose contacts are up will leave others like Marin & Torres will also be leaving . We have been sneaky in that we already have 4 or 5 players out on loan who will either next season or the one after come into the first squad . Players like Lukaka, Courtois, DeBryne to name 3 already full Belgium internationals and when they come back will improve the squad. Also a suspect that some of our real promising youngsters will be tested in the hope that at long last we will see each season a couple of homegrown players coming through our academy system
My point is that you have come so far in such a short period and the trick will be trying to get the books to balance to enable you to move on deadwood (for want of a better word) and I would fully expect that your owners off field investment will start to bear fruits just as I am convinced our off field spend will likewise bear fruit.
Having said that you have a core of wonderful players and irrespective of what that funny old man across the city said they really aren't a way ahead of all others.
Saw him originally play for Genk against us in the CL. Looked a top playerHow did that DeBruyne lad do when he came back?
You thought wrong. Does it explain my questions?
Because we are City fans on a City forum, it wouldn't cross our minds to put Manchester City in the team supported box, I presumed that was for invaders to be honest about.edit updated my profile to show who I support ( to be honest not so many on here actually do say who the support including your good self )
Yep that’s a fair point . The forum rules say thisBecause we are City fans on a City forum, it wouldn't cross our minds to put Manchester City in the team supported box, I presumed that was for invaders to be honest about.
God. You’re obsessed with us. Do you have time to visit the Chelski forums - & do you manage to get to work?Yep that’s a fair point . The forum rules say this
“Fans of other clubs are welcome, as long as they are open about who they support and have a thick skin.”
As said earlier always been open and as I am fast developing my already thick skin
Completely agree. 'True and fair' is necessarily a subjective concept. It follows that the reporting company is given a certain amount of leeway in how they choose to present their affairs.
Eg most football clubs include the cost of player purchases in their accounts on the basis that the purchase price is split over the lifetime of a contract and amortises each year. There is however nothing wrong in present all the cost as falling within the year of purchase, it's just that most clubs don't for reasons you almost certainly understand much better than I. Either presentation would be entirely legitimate, however, and neither would result in the conclusion that the accounts did not provide a true and fair view of the club's financial circumstances. What is necessary is that the club selects legitimate policies and applies them consistently.
The fact that 'true and fair' is a subjective concept means, in this case, that the PL has to show that the club was operating outside the area in which different presentations of the same matters can legitimately be made.
As I keep saying, based on what we know so far, and what came up at CAS, they are going to struggle to do that.
