PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The panel found that MCFC had deliberately refused to provide several witnesses including Simon Pearce at the earlier meeting and refused to provide the originals of the leaked emails until the CAS hearing. These were acknowledged by MCFC as being deliberately done due to leaks from UEFA. We therefore admitted to failing to cooperate and were therefore unable to avoid a fine.
Only if you consider that failing to cooperate. Look at the line “due to leaks from uefa”. That’s not the club acknowledging a refusal to cooperate, merely the opposite.

But if this all ends in the Premier League taking a comprehensive pounding in court, then will that really enhance their reputation as a respectable and competent body?

Say what you like about the Premier League, but the public image they have carefully cultivated over many years now is one of slickness and coordination. It would be very surprising if they were suddenly carefree and foolish enough to throw all of that away.
Have they?

I'm not even sure if the panel has been appointed yet? If and when, they'll have our skip full of evidence to consider and then personal evidence requested and (presumably) given. Then they'll have to consider everything and perhaps ask for further clarification. After that will depend on their conclusions. So it's, how long is a piece of string really.
Cheers for that Centurions mate, much appreciated squire.

And I am also sure the British Government will not be very impressed with the PL basically saying the Abu Dhabi Deputy PM is lying , cheating and allowing his business to commit fraud, especially with the Billions that the UAE and Abu Dhabi invest in our Nation.
Promoted to Vice President recently
