PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Exactly, if they believed there was no wrongdoing on their part, why pay a settlement? They were guilty as hell.
because we were as culpable in the breach, letting an employee leave and allowing them to retain access to our information. Both parties were in the wrong, so they came to an agreement.

I know this would be seen as cutting our nose off to spite our face but in this instance wouldn't it have been worthwhile? Sure, we'd have been in trouble for data protection reasons but nothing compared to the other side who are actively hacking into another clubs database. That's downright cheating and we could and should have made much more of a furore of it all. As we're seeing with the charges, throwing mud is enough to stick. Calling the scousers out for the cheats that they are through our own trusted media sources would have influenced public opinion and shown we can fight fire with fire.

Of course these thoughts are tempered by the fact we have some of the smartest brains in the world running our football club, basically the opposite of me, but doesn't that thought process hold some logic?

No were not equally wrong at all.

If a burglar robbed your house because you didn't shut the window, the burglar would be the law breaker.

Your insurance would be invalidated possibly though.

I bet if it was now, we wouldn't accept an agreement like we did.

why has liverpool's hacking popped up again, its like people on here have the memories of goldfish , oh i must waffle some shit about I.T. security and tell them what i would of done, because i use a computer when customers give their order on the drive thru at Maccy Ds

We really needed to tighten up our digital security some time ago in hindsight didn’t we.
100% and probably why we were more than happy to keep in quite in terms of the scousers.

Not changing login details and passwords after losing important members of staff to a rival was embarrassing in fact it was total incompetence.

And also having a senior execs emails hacked by a Portuguese kid in his bedroom has caused our club untold issues.

Just had a flashback of the film from 1964 ZULU where all the British soldiers defending against a huge host, and it’s us at roorkes drift fighting off the Zulu yank’s and the PL tribe. But we won and took me mum and dads hands and went home through the Manchester champagne rainy night and to a blissful sleep in my cradle.

It's ridiculous isn't it ? I work in the NHS and have to change my login password every 6.weeks

Can Prestwich Blue give us a definitive answer as to the ownership of MCFC? Is it a very rich Sheik or the state of Abu Dhabi.I am fed up of hearing all the pundits, so called journalists and fans of other clubs spouting their bile on the subject.I dont mind either way but it would be good to know the truth on the subject.

Best to leave them to it, only things they have now is Emptihad, 115 and state owned left to cling to. that and their tear stained red and white duvets.

Sheikh Mansoor is the Arabic equivalent of HRH Peter Swales.
