PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Ashamed to say I got over excited at the “seen em off” online twatery today and we’ve seen them off rumours. Forgetting what a pile of crap the twitteratteri is. Mates who support all and sundry slamming me still. I remind them I was chased around Surrey docks by Millwall fans in my replica shirt in the good old 3rd division days. Whatever happens I don’t give a fuck, proper fan of 55years and the last ten joyous years will not be taken away regardless. City going down with a billion in the bank and records a plenty.

It is odd ,I agree, but then at the same time I don't think Masters is anywhere near smart enough to have used that word deliberately. More likely he's just a bit clueless as to how to answer the question put to him and that happened to be the word he chose which loads of us are now reading too much into.

Realise I've posted a couple of fairly negative posts on here today in terms of not getting over excited. Hopefully something concrete comes out soon and it turns out there is something to the multiple pieces of noise, but right now imo that's all it is.
So basically you're a pessimist, fair play...

How many board meetings would have been held since February 2023 and which topic would be pretty high up on the agenda?
Having spent a depressing amount of my life in board meetings, as I suspect is the same for you HCU, at best they’re getting a 5 minute rundown from Cliff for the CFG combined to make more time for something from the Waitrose finest collection.

I’d be shocked if the NED’s know anymore about the case than most people on here do as ultimately it’s not relevant for them.

That's all well and good but with all due respect the younger fans do give a fuck and I'm sure have no interest in being chased around by Millwall fans.
That said, City aren't going anywhere but where they are now...

I mean I’ve been on the other side of the world for a month so thought maybe I’d missed something but as you say, just social media nonsense.

The only thing I would say is even 1% relevant is Galassi due to his board position but unfortunately the number of people involved in the process within the club will be in the single digits and he certainly won’t be one of them so his confidence will derive from his colleagues telling him they’ve done nothing wrong.
He’s an experienced Senior Executive acting in a Non-Exec Director capacity giving an interview to the London Times. If I’m recalling correctly, he is close to and trusted by Khaldoon himself. I think you’re doing him huge disservice suggesting he’d make an overtly positive statement based on tittle-tattle from “colleagues”. In terms of Corporate Governance, CFG could have a “Risk Committee” looking at the case and receiving reports; it’s perfectly feasible for a Non-Exec to be involved.
With this particular matter, whenever a silver lining appears, you do seem desperate to find a cloud !

They probably know far more than you or I do.
The difference being that unlike you,I don't pretend to know.

Often trusted NED’s can be involved in Risk and Reputational matters because of the external perspective they bring.

I guess it would have been hard for City to quantify how much we had lost as a direct result of the hacking. DId we know how many players they signed that we would have? Any? How much did they benefit/we lose by losing out by them having the same data as us?

Suspect it was down to a simple agreement to move on for a price...

It does not matter if the damage was little, The crime itself was done to benefit Liverpool FC,
Why does Liverpool always dodge the bullet, Manchester City should have taken them to the cleaners, Because if the shoe was on the other foot mark my words Manchester City would be Punished heavily and even relegation would have fitted the crime

Because all other football forums are a safe heaven of reasoned debate and gentlemanly behavior. And as for Twitter...well, it's the last vestige of the sane.
It's a very good point.
Only the other day someone posted a screenshot from rawk of someone wanting the ira to blow up our stadium.
Though I don't think he was angry so that's OK ; )

Equally, slander is not necessarily just spoken defamation. For example if I wrote incorrectly "xxxxx is a paedo and a thief" in the snow because the snow would melt and leave no permanent record it would be classed as slander. (Courtesy of my 6th form General Studies programme back in the day).

it would depend on who's hand had written in the snow hahahaha

Why waste your breath? You're responding to a walking agenda...
