PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

City need to send a letter to that fuck knuckle Terry on the football terrace.
Not only in the past has he had a video titled ‘City admit they’re guilty” I also saw a video the other day where he said he’s not worried about a letter.
He said “I spoke to my lawyer the other day and just laughed and said just carry on regardless”
Words to that affect anyway.
Some fucking lawyer that’d be.
He’s either talking more bollocks or he’s got Forrest Gump as a lawyer.

So why watch it?

There is a strange phenomena of people watching/listening to things they know will anger them and then getting angry.

Not just you, people on here listening to talksport, watching sky/tnt, watching the various fan channels/watch a longs... and then getting angry about what is said.

Personally, I believe anything positive that anyone says about us and I dismiss anything negative. I therefore believe that we have sent legal letters. I believe that those who have been sullying our name for years are now silenced and I believe that will will completely clear our name. In all matters City, my objectivity rings out far and wide, from Claremont Road to Kippax Street.
Great post.

Personally I will forever and always wear blue tinted specs.

I'd be interested to know what our resident law fraternity think may be the significance of these warnings after 10 years of gaslighting without any similar action.
It hasn't been 10 years without any action. Christoph Winterbach from Der Spiegel was sent a cease and desist a few years back. He ended up being moved to a different role because of it.

I posted about it in the media thread at the time.

I'm with you, but was it any different than Edersons challenge against Arsenal last season ball was out of play before the slightest contact but pen was awarded.
Wholeheartedly agree. However just because it’s been given before or levelled up doesn’t make it right. It’s just poor refereeing. Still City got a penalty and city won so I’m not upset about it, I’m simply making an observation

The video was basically about who did they fancy for the league, at the end Burley had a meltdown about how it was a disgrace that City's case hadn't been sorted blaming us and the premier league
I said on here years ago that he was by far the biggest, anti City **** on television. If he since had a period of not being a ****, I missed it as I haven’t watched the **** In ages.

You clearly don't understand the rules if you think an indirect free kick should be awarded for a penal offence (foul in this instance) if the offence occurs off the ball.

For example, a scenario where Ederson approaches an injured opponent in City's penalty area whilst City have the ball in the opponent's penalty area. Ederson then deliberately kicks the injured opponent, whilst the ball in still in play, just before Foden shoots and scores a goal. The correct decision is to send Ederson off and award a penalty against City.

Edit. Sorry to have to explain the Laws of the Game in this thread.
I said right in logic not that it’s not right in law. Sorry I do t think it was a foul. Some are given some are not. On this occasion I think we got a gain with a poor decision going for us.

Tbf him and Nicol have given City heaps of praise over this season. Drooling after some games, calling us the best team in the world.... They slag off Ten Bob a lot so I don't mind them. :)
Shaka openly admitted once he doesn't like Manchester City.

How long before the media run with Abu Dhabi city stop freedom of the press?

We all know it’s coming. This is supposedly why Khaldoon has had to toe the party line. Fear the backlash. Well if we “ get away with it” then it will take a millisecond before it’s spouted.

The mob have us with our blue neck zipped all the way up to the top on the media chopping board.

Any FFP chat is being stopped apparently, well it seems that way anyway. Lay the ground work for bantz armagadden.

Goldbridge is reading the letter out on Tuesday, if you're interested.

Just what the boring **** wants, shitloads of people 'interested'. He'll then prattle on about how he's got the biggest audience out there blah blah blah. Fuck that ****, couldn't pay me to watch that shite.

There is fuck all annoying about pitch invasions to celebrate winning the league.
That’s because you are not the one paying the 285,000-pound fine the club got last time.

I think the rise in season ticket prices covers it. You’ve only got yourselves - the pitch invaders - to blame for that one.

But it will be a bigger fine this time if certain Blues are daft enough to play straight into the Premier League’s hands once again.

At some point this will stop being fines and become points deducted. You have seen from the whole 115 debacle what the PL are like. Why give those dickheads the ammunition?

Letters went out very recently. That was after the verbal warnings.

Absolutely real, as is it being done from a position of strength.

Absolutely, and I haven't been given the list of names, either.

Others may want to claim or piggyback.

I haven't asserted we have been cleared, only the legals being sent are said to be from a position of strength, which would suggest we have a high degree of confidence.
I like when tolmie talks dirty ;)
Im more interested to see the ones that went to harris and that certain owl in a jar ( hope she is not fermented by now )

Two reasonably reliable and well regarded members of this forum, @tolmie's hairdoo and @Prestwich_Blue, who both have good track records on this subject, have indicated that there is a high degree of confidence within the club that City will beat the allegations.

On the 'balance of probabilities' I'd say that was reaon for cautious optimism.

Your talk about the presence or absence of 'proof' is irrelevant nonsense.
No more needs to be said.

I’d like to see someone stood in the centre of the associated press office live on sky talking about Rob Harris getting a cease & desist letter & what it means. Obviously guilt will already be applied & the conversation can centre around his career being in tatters, losing his house & sleeping rough with just a bottle of sherry to keep him company.

I still can’t fucking believe they had the audacity to do what they did when they stood in the middle of the Etihad slagging us off. It was like taking a shit on the penalty spot.

Here’s a game for all Bluemooners to try.
1. Think of a number. Write it down.
2. Halve it and write the answer down.
3. Halve it again and write the answer down.
4. Continue until you have written down thousands of numbers of tiny value.
5. Post your results to the ‘PL charge City with 115 breaches‘ thread.
