PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Wyness has been spouting his vitriol for a few months now, much of it on F365 who themselves have a clear agenda. I'm not sure exactly what we've done to the **** to turn him into the king of bitter scousers, but whatever it was, we need to do it again and again
All scousers are bitter little fuckers.
Had two of them yesterday telling me we were getting relegated and every club were going to sue the shit out of us.
After ten minutes of facts and laughing at them they fuckoff to the bar and missed their tee time :)

WTF did I miss? What's all this narrative about us being relegated? We're winning this case hands down. The louder and more frequent the twats chat shit the more obvious it becomes. They are going to get in every last dig possible before the jig is up. I'm going to say it, fuck it. Anyone claiming to be a Blue spouting all this negative shit is a fucking pussy, simple as. Take that defeatist shit and shove it up your ass. I'm believing in and supporting my club all the way no matter what these disgusting pieces of shit in the media say...

Totally agree.

If you're reading an article about the case, just ignore anything that's full of 'if', 'could' and 'might' as being the guessings of a know-nothing click chaser. Pointless crap.

It does surprise me that there is no countersuits for the reputational damage that these companies have acted in an industrial scale fraud.
The first stage might be one of those chummy but slightly chilling Chairman to Chairman letters stating they would be noting the implications of the hearing with interest.

Carragher is a very decent football pundit, his knowledge of the game is huge and he clearly thinks and watches a lot of football and it's tactics etc, but his major problem is that scouse bitterness is always under the surface and he can't resist digs at us and what our club has achieved on and off the pitch.

His major problem is that fucking horrible scratchy high pitch scouse accent.

Perhaps we should start a bluemoon class action against the likes of Wyeness, slimy Stone, Jordan etc for emotional distress caused by their libellous rantings? This time next year (Rodney) we'll be millionaires

Almost every headline at the moment regarding us is based on quotes by Keith Wyness. He obviously has an agenda, probably due to the fact Everton have been deservedly fucked over by the PL and now he feels we should be done also. He's a convenient soundbite source for the red shirt media to use as quoting his previous role title " ex PL Chairman" appears to give his quotes some authority.

It embarrassing really lol but I guess he is making a living out of people thinking Wyness knows what he is talking about lol.

Owners must be extremely confident, otherwise why not just stick £10 on a barrel of oil or threaten to cut trade ties with the Uk.All hell breaks lose. Majority of people unable to afford petrol. Goverment will then have to intervene & declare the fa NFFP. Owners owe nothing to Uk, only interests are in MCFC.

Agree except that I'd remove 'very'. He's decent, makes some interesting points.

But that all happens after matches, I'd bet that he's spoonfed all his analysis by real analysts who understand the data.

I don't recall him ever coming up with astute and relevant tactical points while he's live on co-commentary.
I hate the *wat with a passion but his knowledge of the game and his memory of games going back decades is immense.

And/or they are getting pissed off with how the Premier League is being run. Don't forget they were criticised for the legal bill they tried, and failed, to get Everton to pay. They were also criticised for appealing the Leicester judgement which added to the legal costs. All the so called smaller clubs need the PL handout but are seeing it wasted.
The Premier League is finished. At it's inception, their directive was to play European style football, less contact, more style, à la Guardiola. As the red tops are struggling to compete, suddenly, we need to return to the 'English way', up and under, kick and rush, physical thuggery.

Congratulations on posting the most stupid comment this week

Jordan and his pals have been warning for quite a while that City obstruct the investigation and will employ the best lawyers to tie the PL in paralysing and costly knots to avoid answering for our breaches of the regulations. And now the media are concerned that the legal bills for the PL are now unaffordably high, so high they will make it impossible for the PL to contribute to the "smaller" clubs (Everton?). I'm a grumpy, biased old sod but this appears to be a simple pack of unsubstantiated rumours to cover the base that, if City do win, it is only because our deplorable tactics, described by the super bright Jordan, have worked, and is yet another example of City's kamikaze spending winning by attrition.

There hasn't really been anything that has happened since the day we were charged and issued a statement, that should affect how people feel about it, in all fairness.

Well yes, nothing to do with the facts, but I think we have all learned a lot over the last eighteen months about the process. And that should have increasingly given us grounds for optimism. (And I know this wasn't your point but we should be grateful to the people on here who contributed to that. I know I am).

People complain about the length of this thread, the recurring issues other people come up with and the temporary amusing (or otherwise) diversions, but it has helped the vast majority of us to develop a reasoned opinion on what is going to happen. It has certainly helped me. Media and social media not so much, if at all.

I guess the message I was trying to get over was to listen to people on here, take comfort from what they say and come to your own conclusions. Don't listen to KFAs in the media and social media and start doubting for no reason.

But they don't want people like that on the TV, unfortunately.

Nedum would be a certainty, but he's too bright for them, and would most likely just get frustrated with having to sit in the same conversations as Sturridge, Micah and the rest of the banter crew.

Case in point against Arsenal; Merson, Walcott, Micah and Keane in the Sky studio, for arguably the biggest game of the season so far.

They know Micah doesn't represent City, so they've effectively got 2 Arsenal, a nodding dog, and Keane who just hates everyone.

Considering we've won, 4 titles in a row, and 6 of the last 7; you'd like to think they'd want some City representation to talk through how good we are, and what a joy it is to watch us every week.

You tell me why that isn't the case!
Keane is probably the fairest pundit on Sky..
Now I'm away for a lie down after posting that.lol.
