Don't ask how I know this.
Thanks - but fuck me that is funny
You said - don't ask - so I won't - but I am wondering;-)

Yup and 'double yup' to your last two sentences. There was a distinct change in the Times overage towards City after they were misled about the UEFA case. The CAS decision made them look stupid. A lot of fake news has been circulated. This Forum, biased as we all are, has mostly been reliable so far.
I guess the window for any government intervention in this has long since passed, but it seems inconceivable that the 115 case won't come up during Starmer's visit, especially if he is desperately seeking investment for the UK. A British institution, in the form of the Premier League, is actively seeking to sabotage a multi-billion pound asset of the vice president and deputy prime minister of the United Arab Emirates. There's no way that's just getting swept under the carpet for the sake of diplomacy.2nd most expensive property purchase in London and Starmer in Abu Dhabi with his begging bowl ! Not sure this backs up Cheesey’s 40 points jackanory !
Abu Dhabi’s ruling family buys £60m London mansion as Starmer courts Gulf cash
Purchase comes ahead of Prime Minister’s trip to United Arab Emirateswww.telegraph.co.uk
Agree that there can’t be any intervention - that ship sailed a long time ago. But the idea that Starmer is visiting Abu Dhabi with a begging bowl at a time an Independent Tribunal is listening is to the Premier League charge one of their royal family and some of their most important major corporations of a wide scale fraud conspiracy is truly bizarre.I guess the window for any government intervention in this has long since passed, but it seems inconceivable that the 115 case won't come up during Starmer's visit, especially if he is desperately seeking investment for the UK. Is that the way we want to get off the chargeses ?
I would rather the chargeses are debunked by irrefutable evidence.
But then again the cartel and their stooges in the media will spin it in either case to suit their agenda.
I couldn't care less in all honesty. Is that the way we want to get off the chargeses ?

TV footage of Mansour greeting Starmer with warm smiles and friendly hugs while agreeing to pump investment into the UK is going to provoke a social media/media meltdown.
The IC members don’t exist in a bubble. They will be aware of the potential diplomatic, political and economic ramifications of finding against City on the serious charges of fraudulent accounting. To reach a guilty verdict will require compelling documentary evidence and if the PL had that evidence City would have reached a compromise settlement with the PL a long time ago.
