PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

It's the first time I have ever thought what if we are guilty
These last couple of months have been so strange and hard to understand even with an injury-hit squad or players burnt out or nothing left in the tank, it's been a very big drop-off and all around the club the feeling is not right.

Now the Question.. What if we are found guilty
Will the fans understand a hard punishment and be demoted, Do I even dare I say it ? trophies and titles removed from the history books and other clubs taking us to court for loss of earnings and prize money.

I feel it could end badly and Manchester City will be finished or will be so punished the damage will be terminal.
For the first time, it crossed my mind what about the FANS in all of this and where do we go, All this is a mess, and it's starting to affect how I feel, The fans are the ones who had no control over all this and sadly we are the ones who will suffer the most, I don't think that anybody has thought what about the fans

Look I will back my club and Khaldoon AI Mubarak, he's the one who has been saying we have done nothing wrong over and over again and season after season, BUT what else would he say,

Unless the PL have new damning evidence that no-one knows about and has not been leaked, we will be fine. We were initially banned from the Chumps for 2 years and I did not see an implosion by the team then. I think there are too many other factors that explain our drop in performance rather than the impact of the PL charges which are now with the panel to come to a decision. The auditors have just signed off our latest accounts - the same auditors for many years. If we were up shit creak they would have resigned when we received the first set of charges from UEFA. They did not. That speaks volumes for me. City just need to move out some deadwood and get some hungry quality players in.

If we are found guilty - of which I don't think we will - The current board and ownership would be untenable.

I think the fans as well would feel so let down that we would have been lied to that many of us would want it as well.

It would be an utter disaster from a sponsorship perspective as well going forward as many would rescind their contracts and for many a year going forward, not many big time sponsors would touch us.

It's not worth thinking about anyway because nothing will happen. Something would have come out by now.

The question one has to ask is could or would the people who own this club given their wealth and political status be reckless and desperate enough to breach rules to the extent they are being accused of doing? And doing so in a manner that could be proven in a formal hearing? The fact that it's required the most expensive lawyers on both sides of the argument to litigate these accusations for this length of time is a bit eye catching, on both sides. It's either here's what you did and here's the proof or fuck off where's your proof?
I can't see any world in which the club would leave itself this vulnerable to such charges, but if they have to an extent it can be proven that they've willfully breached the rules we as supporters would have to be infuriated with our owners to a level that I'd want them incarcerated (not happening) or at the very least forced to forfeit their ownership. The idea that as Blues we'd go again is obvious but not with this ownership group. Not for me. For all of our sakes these men better prove themselves to be not guilty of any of these shenanigans. A guilty verdict would for me be a betrayal of our trust of epic proportions. Here's to praying it never comes to that.

Well for a start he could have come to a press conference at the start of the season and responded to the usual suspects in the same manner as he did to David Clayton
He could have also insisted that any journalist asking Pep about the allegations would be automatically banned.
Anything to prove that he was on our side.

That fills me with hope and 100% right
We have been cleared of cheating at CAS and allowed to play the Champions League and even win
the 115 charges are the same as Uefa had on us so again I feel hopeful.

It's the £10 million in fines Uefa and City settled on that does not sit well and City was daft to agree with
Now somehow the rules have changed about non-corresponding or handing over the account on time, it's what the 115 charges by the Premier League are leading with because of that fine City settled with uefa

Oh I don't know. Maybe instead of we have irrefutable evidence and we'll have a chat when it's over the club could have taken a more aggressive public posture. More along the lines of this is a fucking outrage. We've already been exonerated in the highest court for sport. How dare you accuse HRHSM of being a monumental fraud. There will be hell to pay you motherfuckers. That would have made me for one feel a lot better...just sayin"...
