The whole "I've got a great source but I won't tell you unless you PM me" thing comes across badly because if you're willing to tell anyone who messages by PM then it can't really be that secret and you may as well just say it. It was a tough one because of who the source was. Plenty who PM’ed me who were initially critical changed their mind when they found out who it was, and agreed that I was right not to name them on the forum. I only started PM’ing people the name because everyone wanted to know and I don’t blame them for that - I’d be the same to be fair. A lot of the ITKs on here don’t name their sources so I don’t see why this should be any different. I felt bad that he was eventually outed but some of that disappeared when he started to deny that he’d ever said it in the first place. I trust the club, I trust the owners and I believe it when they say we have done nothing sinister or dodgy.
All of a sudden these cranks on YouTube have suddenly turned into financial experts and law students and seem to know what is happening and that we're going to get absolutely battered. It's all about getting clicks as they know every other club and their fans will be lapping it up because soon, when it's all been put to bed and we're found not guilty these pricks on the socials will dry up like a desert in a heatwave.
