PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Think people need to dial back their expectations on what this will play out like even if the club are cleared of everything. No, that dickhead down the pub won't eat their words, teenage Liverpool fans from New York will still call us cheats on X, Simon Jordon will bluster his way through Talksport implying that maybe we got away with it. The club won't unleash hell on our rivals.

What it will mean, however, is that we are here to stay. We will in another PL in the next three years. We will another CL in the next decade. Those will be the victories.
Yes it will continue... but we can just laugh in their faces

And as time passes it will be forgotten and they'll have something else to occupy their little minds

Get away with no fair market assessment on interest free loans, Arsenal, no problem

As above Liverpool, no problem

Allowance of £50 million for new stadium planning fees for a stadium that never happened, no problem

Sell a couple of hotels to yourself to pass PSR, no problem

Sell your women’s football team to yourself, no problem

Get a £41m Covid allowance that is £40m more than any other club gets, no problem

Get a £35m share dealing allowance for some scruffy **** needing to pass PSR, no problem

Run your club well, develop the local community, set up a network of well run clubs - every fucking problem, get investigated to fuck and reputationally hammered

I am guessing it’s a coincidence that only 1 of these clubs is Arab owned and the rest are US owned? Racist fucking yanks, absolutely stinks
And that 1 Club has took a vast share of the money and prizeses that was there's for many years.

My brother in law is a seemingly sensible man but unfortunately a dirty red. When talking about the charges hes pretty convinced we are guilty. And if we are found guilty itll be fair and correct.

However, if we are found innocent “we must have bribed the FA”. (Yeah i know, the FA. He also says ‘saudi’ alot so dont think details are his thing).

I ask him if we do indeed bribe the FA (i run with it cos it amuses me),how that bribe will go down, he just shrugs and says “money talks”.

Whatever the outcome , its job done. We are tarnished. I dont care one jot, but its what the red cartel and prem ultimately set out to do
Love the idea of bribes.
Obviously we can’t use any form of internet/computer banking systems because sooner or later a fearless, justice-seeking young whistleblower will uncover it in his quest for honesty and transparency, so we are left with the idea of Khaldoon skulking about at Victoria station, with his collar turned up stuffing a large brown envelope behind the hot water pipes in the the 3rd washroom along in the gents.

No, wrong technique. You go in the Victoria Tap, settle down with something dark and an abv of about 8%. Wait until it gets busy, drop your beer mat on the floor and pick it up switching rucksacks, job done.

There are loads of articles in the press on the same theme, i.e. that the Haaland signing is clear indication from City that they won’t get badly punished for the 115 charges. Is that not liable, assuming that we are guilty or are going to be found guilty? Surely it’s a clear indication that Manchester City are confident of a successful outcome of the 115 case not that the punishment won’t be too bad.
The media have spent years assuming our guilt. They ain’t gonna change now.
